UK Schools to give boys anti-misogyny lessons to stop toxic masculinity in wake of Netflix hit Adolescence

Schools are set to give students anti-misogyny lessons in the wake of hit Netflix TV show Adolescence about a teen boy who murders a female classmate.

The classes form part of the government's new relationships, health and sex education (RHSE) guidance, which will be introduced before the end of the academic year.

It comes after Sir Keir Starmer revealed at Prime Minister's Questions on Wednesday that he was watching the mini-series with his two teenagers - and that he backs the show creators' calls for it to be shown in parliament and schools.

The four-episode programme follows the Miller family, whose lives are torn apart when their 13-year-old son Jamie is arrested for stabbing a female classmate to death after being influenced by online misogyny.

The drama, released ten days ago, was the most-watched show on Netflix worldwide last weekend, gripping audiences with its sobering portrayal of how social media and misogynistic influencers can impact young boys.

Though Labour's classroom guidance is still being developed, it is understood to include content to 'support healthy relationships', to 'enable schools to tackle harmful behaviour and ensure that misogyny is stamped out and not allowed to proliferate', an insider source said, the Times reported.

From as early as primary school, children will be encouraged to 'express and understand boundaries, handle disappointment and pay attention to the needs and preferences of oneself and others', with content modified for older children to reflect the 'real-life complexities of romantic and sexual relationships', the source added.

The development comes as a win for the Netflix show's co-writers, Jack Thorne and actor Stephen Graham - who stars as the teen boy's father - who have said they wanted Adolescence to be a programme that 'causes discussion and makes change'.

The new guidance will encourage students to 'think about what healthy sexual relationships involve' - including 'consent', along with 'kindness, attention and care'.

As children progress to secondary school, classroom content will start to include the 'communication and ethics' needed for healthy romantic and sexual relationships.

Topics covered will range from dynamics of power and vulnerability, to tools to manage 'difficult emotions', like disappointment and anger, that can affect relationships.

The effects of misogynistic online content and pornography on both young people's sexual behaviour and their views of relationship norms will also be discussed.

Education secretary Bridget Phillipson has faced pressure to overturn RSHE guidance drafted by the previous Conservative government - which included bans on sex education for children under nine and discussions of gender identity.

Adolescence was praised last week by the parents of a survivor of the Southport stabbings for drawing attention to the 'terrifying' impacts of online misogynistic content on young men.

Axel Rudakubana, then 17, stabbed their daughter - known as Child A - more than 30 times during his brutal attack on a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in July last year. He killed three young girls - and was jailed for life in January.

The parents, in a statement read out by their MP during a debate on knife crime in the House of Commons on Thursday, said influencers like Andrew Tate are having a 'terrifying' impact on teen boys, who needed to be protected from this content.

Rudakubana cleared most of his online search history before the murders - so it is not known whether he viewed any content associated with Tate.

Triple murderer Kyle Clifford - who shot his ex-girlfriend Louise Hunt and her sister Hannah with a crossbow and stabbed their mother Carol - is known to have viewed Tate's videos before making his ferocious attacks.

Teachers were told in government guidance released last year to look out for signs of misogyny and 'incel culture' in students aged 14 and over, which could lead to sexual abuse, violence and suicide.

The education secretary warned teachers to watch out for teen boys who had been indoctrinated by 'manosphere' influencers into 'hating women'.

Last week, former England football manager Sir Gareth Southgate blasted 'callous, manipulative and toxic influencers' for leading young men towards misogyny.

At the BBC's annual Richard Dimbleby lecture, he said the 'sole drive' of these pernicious online creators is their 'own gain': 'They willingly trick young men into believing that success is measured by money or dominance, that strength means never showing emotion, and that the world, including women, is against them.'

This is Bongland, of course they'd tell young white boys that they are inherently evil and should be corrected to be more like women.
I agree with this. There’s a very nasty ‘what it means to be a boy/girl’ idea at the moment. For girls it’s this odd hyper sexualised stuff and for boys it’s any kind of active or physical expression even healthy like sports is demonised,
So I think both sexes get this weird treatment in different ways in British schools. Here’s what I’ve either experienced directly or see around me
1. Both sexes are shoved behind desks too young and their natural want to play and run is stopped. Contrast that with other countries where they’re outdoors all day (BOTH sexes) and it’s rubbish. Kids are naturally active. So there are a lot of kids who just would be better off on a Scandinavian type system but are then labelled as adhd and drugged up. We’ve had all the borderline sped kids dumped into mainstream and we no longer stream or set anyone because discrimination.
2. Rather than deal with problem behaviour directly, one school tactic is to put a boy with genuine behaviour issues next to a well behaving girl so she ‘can calm him down.’ This is often pretty frightening and very disruptive for the girl and it’s wrong, and something I’ve had to go and yell at people over.
4. Boys are belittled constantly in multiple ways. It’s not pitched as ‘women are human, treat them as such’ it’s a very continuous drip drip of nasty stuff.
5. Girls are told they can be better morally and value wise than boys and stronger than boys not simply be smarter or more competent or more hardworking if they work and apply themselves BUT they’re then below a Troon in the stack so they then their toilets and change rooms and sports invaded and they get physically hurt playing sports and when they complain they’re punished. Think how that message falls on a twelve year old girl. You’re a girlboss, and can beat a guy up, but you’ve just been flattened and injured by a tranny in the pitch, and if you complain your life is ruined, and he’s got a boner in the locker room and is brave and stunning for it. It’s so incredible weird and wrong
All of this is completely fucked up and it’s putting adult baggage around gender onto kids who just want to get through school. It has to stop. Schools should be safe. No phones. Zero tolerance for social media abuse like nudes. Zero gender bullshit. Boys and girls are different. You are both as capable on an individual level to succeed at schoolwork.
It's very disheartening to see how public opinion has reduced young men's issues to misogyny alone. What's worse is that they've made enormous faggots like Andrew Tate the heads of the problem. Seriously, i had never even heard of the guy before, and the only times i see his name typed out is through outrage articles like these.

The hatred of women is a symptom, not the cause. But this is what these people focus on. I've said it before, but the reason they will never get the support they want is because they can't even begin to pretend they actually care about males.

"It's okay to be angry, just don't be angry at women and bipoc! It's not their fault you're mediocre!"

Never any talk about depression, about suicide rates, hopelessness about the future, isolation... And on the rare chance any of those are acknowledged, it's prefaced with "First of all, you have to admit that as a man, you are privileged, okay?" Aka "Your problems come second, maybe third."

It doesn't take a genius to see how that approach will push these kids towards the exact opposite of what you represent. It's shocking how they can't see this.
Tate is pushed in a way that’s so inorganic. I agree, I’d never have heard of him and the teen boys in the family think he’s sad and gay (in the perjurative senses.)
I want my kids to grow up without any of this adult predatory bullshit. They are at school to be educated and school are in loco parentis. More extra maths and hockey, zero gender bollocks. There’s no discipline either - teachers and staff seem terrified of parents and kids alike and clearly never got told no is a complete sentence. If I could afford to send mine to private I would in a heartbeat. That lack of discipline - I mean good discipline, firm but fair, not thrashing them like we used to get. We’ve gone so far down the liberal route that schools are again places where kids just get parked and abused, only in a different way now.
The result is confused kids. Boys confused because the things they want to do like running around and being active are wrong, girls because if they want to climb a tree they’re a boy, predatory adults and a hyper sexualised culture. No hope for the future, want a family? That’s wrong. Can’t afford a house, watch what you say.
It has to hit boiling point at some point, and when it does there is going to be a critical mass of young angry men who will start raising the black flag and spitting in hands and frankly, they’ll be justified in doing so

I watched the first 15 minutes of the show, and when the black coppa is telling the kid he has the right to stay silent, but his silence can be used against him; I remembered Josh talking about on a MATI episode.
Thank God I'm not suffering in Bongland where you have no rights, unless you're a muhamidine worshiping pedophile.

Spoiler:

A black female classmate who mocked and harassed him online because he saw her pics, who he had the audacity to try and show sympathy for (with all of the romantic fantasy of a 13-year-old boy who thinks he can rescue a girl/woman from her own circumstances).

If he was an actual misogynist, he would have just laughed at her and kept it moving.
and ensure that misogyny is stamped out and not allowed to proliferate', an insider source said, the Times reported.
>Can't stamp out illegal migration
>Can't stamp out grooming gangs
>Can't stamp out colorful stabbers of color
>Can't stamp out Little Englanders/nationalists
>Will stamp out misogyny with a Netflix show

The most famous angloid of the 20th century (Churchill) said of us Burgers that you can trust us to do the right thing after we've tried everything else.

The angloids (especially post-Blair) will just call the right thing racist/sexist/islamophobic and give everything else another try.

I had no clue the UK was this bad. Fucking hell.

Hypersexualizing girls from what age?! Christ. Telling boys to be passive and inactive is also scary but less horrifying. Do the various councils think The Wall was a how to guide?

Do dark kids get any passes? Is that why they run rampant when out of school?

Osmotic feminization, and hurting the 'better' at the same time? So this is the bottom rung of the ladder of tranny abstraction? Wow, the UK just provided a lemma to tranny theory.
4. Boys are belittled constantly in multiple ways. It’s not pitched as ‘women are human, treat them as such’ it’s a very continuous drip drip of nasty stuff.

Wow.

A minor point? Being constantly, conspicuously, and incessantly 'reminded' that "women/girls are human, treat them as such" can recreate the same effect, particularly if one is using that euphemistically to enforce a power imbalance, such as if a girl broke a boundary with a boy and the boy tried to speak up about it.
It’s so incredible weird and wrong

Inherent, ontological, structural 'better', enforced by the school, while also having a boy in drag (with boners in the changing room) hurt them at sports, showing the troonkid is the betterest better. Kafka would be proud.

Broken, insane, gender-twisted baggage that was forced on adults, on top of actual adult sex role baggage, dehumanizing children so losers can rehash their made up bullshit to excuse their problems? Checks out.
Tate is pushed in a way that’s so inorganic. I agree, I’d never have heard of him and the teen boys in the family think he’s sad and gay (in the perjurative senses.)

Tate's just a blatant faggot hack scamming otherwise ignored, never spoken to men, and pissing off a lot of autistic feminists. TBH I do think he's gay in both senses. Tate's the symptom, not the cause. There would be no Tate in the 90s, or even the 00s. Fuck him, sure, but he'll just be replaced with the next PUA grifter. The underlying problem is only going to spawn more Tates.

On the other hand, when we shit on literally all males except the Bateman types who can navigate this hellworld, is it any wonder men would want to become a Bateman so they could have a shot, too?

If you make it so the only way to win is to play dirty, you don't blame the people who have dirty hands, you look at why the rules are so fucking retarded.
I want my kids to grow up without any of this adult predatory bullshit. They are at school to be educated and school are in loco parentis. More extra maths and hockey, zero gender bollocks. We’ve gone so far down the liberal route that schools are again places where kids just get parked and abused, only in a different way now.

So they're afraid of the boys, which is why they sit boys acting out from living a larp of The Wall next to some random girl. The browns run rampant and the trannyboys run roughshod. Is there a reason your footie hooligans haven't decided to hold a match on the grounds of Buckingham or in the middle of parliament yet?
The result is confused kids. Boys confused because the things they want to do like running around and being active are wrong, girls because if they want to climb a tree they’re a boy, predatory adults and a hyper sexualised culture. No hope for the future, want a family? That’s wrong. Can’t afford a house, watch what you say.

Boys are just wrong, girls are boys (but okay because tranz) if they're active at all, and basically all of them face a hypersexual hellscape of predatory condescending creeps who talk about gender and growth and their real selves in the most inauthentic way - did one of Nero's relatives show up to fiddle while Mohamed's descendant celebrates Eid?
It has to hit boiling point at some point, and when it does there is going to be a critical mass of young angry men who will start raising the black flag and spitting in hands and frankly, they’ll be justified in doing so

The lid's come off the pot a few times within the last year or so. I'm honestly astonished the lid's been put back. Please tell me you and your kids are in a suburb or at least a very white city, and every britposter has good VPN/TOR data hygiene.

Someone tell Trump Greenland is a good staging ground to liberate the UK from its monarchy. FUCKING hell.

Hypersexualizing girls from what age?!
From young. You want to buy something like jeans or shorts for your kids? You go to a shop. The boys ones are made of thicker denim, they’re just… jeans. The girls ones are thinner denim, tighter, often skin tight, more likely to rip during playing outdoors, they’re lower cut on the waist, the shorts will be skimpy. Look around the shop - the boys section has t shirts in white, various colours, with no logos or stuff like a dinosaur or gaming controller on. The girls is all fucking pink (and it’s fine to HAVE pink just maybe other colours too) and the shirts are tighter, skimpier, big cutouts on everything recently, and often have suggestive logos on. I’ve seen playboy bunnies on children’s clothing. For young girls, at the age you just want clothes they can go out and play in the garden with. Their shoes are less robust, harder to run and climb in. You can of course find the sturdier stuff, but you’ll go to a more expensive shop for it and pay more. The default is skimpy and worse quality.
The cartoons - boys have paw patrol, based on rescuing people and being a good pal. The girls have shit that’s all social hive mind focused and about being pink and famous and pretty. And yeah, there are funnier ones for older kids like teen titans and younger kids like Bluey, but again the bulk of it is dividing them into ‘boy stuff’ and ‘girl stuff’ and the boy stuff is about action and the girl is about being LIKED and famous and pretty.

Last time I was abroad I found some Minecraft stuff in the girls section and bought the lot. Went down very well. Why can’t we do that more? It’s fine to have the pink princess stuff, but it’d be nice to also have clothes they can climb a tree in without showing their knickers.
kids should just be kids. Boys, girls, that stuff should be just restricted to PE and toilets, the rest of the time at school they are pupils, it should be just ‘keep them safe from harm and educate them.’
At home we don’t treat them differently unless there’s a reason to, like both of us parents take them swimming because they’re at the age where they’re too old to be in the opposite sex change room but a bit too young to go in their own alone. But the rest of the time they are just children. They have to do their homework, they have to do their chores. They play. this endless focus on gender is really harmful, and then there are parents who seem to almost get that but they deal with it insanely by doing stuff like ‘bringing them up without gender’ at all which is also just crazy.
I feel like everyone’s mad, and everyone’s putting their crazy polarised adult baggage onto children and making them crazy too.
I have seen some stuff from parenting that has made me despair, and made me so angry.

So very rarely, an oddity happens. You don't see it often enough, but when it does happen, it tends to be pretty fucking funny.

Essentially, one big issue that leftists in the acitivsts have, due to an inability to properly put themselves in the headspace of their enemies, is that occasionally, a work that they unambiguously intended as a hitpiece will turn right the fuck around and instead impugn their entire moral philosophy by accident. This usually doesn't make the work good or watchable, but it does make the work utterly fascinating from the standpoint of them accidentally posting a massive number of Ls at the same time and being completely oblivious as to how this makes them look.

Recently, a friend of mine pirated and streamed Adolescence for us to MST. And by god, some of the writing gave us ample material to make with the funny with. Especially the scenes with the psychologist where she comes across as a weird creepy sex-pest asking a 13-year-old all kinds of invasive sexual questions. But what kept jumping out at all of us is that while the entire show actively tries to paint the the killer (a young boy) as some weird Andrew Tate-worshipping uber-mysogynist, it unintentionally acts as a giant, outright scathing criticism of the direction education has been actively steered for 30 fucking years. The attack wasn't at random or because the victim was a woman, it was because she and her idiot friends were harassing him 24/7 and actively making fun of him knowing full well the school and social standing would effectively let them get away with it.

It tries to portray everything as the fault of the evils of masculinity, but what it actually does is establish just how fucked things are because of the school and society as a whole letting people fall through the cracks and systemically failing the killer and their family at every fundamental level. I'm reminded of that one mass-shooter who it later turned out had been aggressively bullied by one groiup of students until they came to school with a gun and shot them specifically, only for one of the surviving bullies to whine and cry about how they had to because they were morally right to abuse the fuck out of someone, and what had previously been a tragic case quickly became a case of people realizing she reached the find out part of the fuck around equation pretty damn quick.

None of this makes the show any more watchable, mind, but it does mean that in their effort to promote this, they will inadvertently show their proverbial Ls to yet more people, who most assuredly, in their efforts to get some kind of amusement from it, will surely noticed what we noticed. Something to think about.

They not only lack theory of mind, they can't see reality for what it is. They use structures to see the world, lenses with particular tints, and have to sort things into categories. It's not unlike the simplifications that children or autistic people use. You sort into man and woman, then cis or trans, then disabled or not, then ethnicities and blah blah blah, so everyone comes down to an instance of a type, or a few types all at once. This is why crazy disabled niggertrannies are the new priestly class, you see.

Sexuality is The Most Important Thing (because how else do faggots and trannies count?) therefore you creep on a 13 year old and call it therapeutic.
This is precisely what I mean by structural thinking in practice:

'Who' you are is all that matters. They really only see things that way. That's why they feel completely okay with justifying it, or even think they have to justify it, as a response to being harassed. Because they think in structural terms, CIS WHITE BOY BAD PERIOD. But they also realize on some level things don't just happen on their own, so the antagonism was written in. Because Girls Are Valid™ and We Must Believe Women And Girls™, they're totally okay! And, yes, the school and society in the show at large is completely okay with it, as is the show in itself, because Girls > Boys. Particular details and individual experience doesn't matter if you're this retarded or autistic.
It tries to portray everything as the fault of the evils of masculinity, but what it actually does is establish just how fucked things are because of the school and society as a whole letting people fall through the cracks and systemically failing the killer and their family at every fundamental level. This isn't the shooting where The Hogg got his start as a grifting gigafaggot and that goblina talked about how okay it was to bully the guy and how it's retrocausally even better because the bad cishetwhiteboy did a bad thing and thus reinforced their structural thinking through groups.

They can't see reality as it is. It's all through proxies they can understand, but as anyone with a 3 digit iq knows, that's just a cope for retards, autists, and children. But I repeat myself.

Something to think about.

What I can't help but notice is how, in the general case, people who have no business making decisions, who can't make decisions, and who don't want to make decisions, make cope-decisions with cope-frameworks to see reality in tard-o-vision. This urgently reinforces the need for people who can deal with reality and knows how to talk to such adult children to put them in their place and set things straight, again.

Alas, all we have is tard-o-vision as entertainment.

Hey, at least we can Sneed!

I genuinely thought the show was gonna have some actual depth to it, but no it literally just reverted to "LE TATE GANG!!! HIT WOMEN!!!".

A fucking mockery of the actual issue if we're entertaining any amount of discussion to this mainstream single-mother slop bait.

How about we get a season 2 aimed at telling young girls not to ride dildos for change as soon as they turn 18? Or is that problematic and anti-feminism?

Look around the shop - the boys section has t shirts in white, various colours, with no logos or stuff like a dinosaur or gaming controller on. The girls is all fucking pink (and it’s fine to HAVE pink just maybe other colours too) and the shirts are tighter, skimpier, big cutouts on everything recentl
Or you know you could just buy her logo-less clothes from the boys' aisle. Children don't have fit issues until puberty.
