America was at its best when corporations had no incentive to ship jobs overseas, when they were paying corporate tax rates of 90%. Instead Trump has you so brainwashed that you think his retarded tariffs are going to fix things and that you paying 25% more for stuff is a good thing And Trump is going to make it worse by cutting taxed for corporations even more and even more tax cuts for the rich.

In terms of paying 35% more for groceries, my supermarket helpfully labels their fruit and veg with the country of origin so in preparation all I did was skip the broccoli in the "product of Mexico" box and grab the broccoli in the "product of USA" box. It hasn't even been that much of a price difference. It isn't noticeable.
The nearby farmers market is also opening soon and that's meat, eggs, honey, mushrooms, bread, dairy, fruit, and veg all produced within the state. Tariff free.
I'll also be buying a cow share to cover my meat needs for the next six months. Great value and great quality. I can even drop by the ranch to go meet who's going to be going on my table in a month.
