There is one interesting "nation" on the list of places subject to tariffs

Ignoring the obvious fact that this is not a nation... I mean, it's in the name, but that is not the dumbest part. It's not even the fact that it has no permanent residents, the dumbest fact is that all the residents it does have comes from the Diego Garcia military base... which is a joint military base between UK and... USA... So this literally does nothing, because the island has no civilians, only military personnel. But it Boggles my mind that Trump would sooner place tariffs on an AMERICAN MILITARY TERRITORY before he'd put any tariffs on Russia... Not even Americans are fully safe from receiving American tariffs.

But seriously for a moment. There wasn’t a single person on this team putting this together who had his wits enough about them to be like “let’s go over the list and make sure this makes sense.” Everyone tells me Trumps such a genius businessman but let me tell you about business: if you handed this to your boss as a project you were working on you wouldn’t likely have a job anymore, or at very least would never be trusted with a project again.

This isn’t a business though, it’s the USA GOVERNMENT. Think about it. They have more money and resources than anyone in the world, literally the richest man is basically running it (into the ground) and not a single person thought to double check.

In my company it’s a known fact that the hot shot sailsmen are abysmal at admin. They have people doing that for them and understand their importance. The most successful people I work with don’t believe they are better or smarter than anyone else, just that they’re good at this. These guys have locked all the smart people out of the room because they’re high on their own farts and now we’ve applied tariffs to islands where no one lives.

I mean. It would have taken an intern maybe an afternoon to effectively do this. And these guys run our military over Gmail.

I’d be so much more impressed if these trolls like, engaged. They can’t defend Trump so all they can do is shit on the chess board like it’s a win.

How long are american citizens expected to deal with the so called "short term" pain? The bilionaires don't give a fuck about the people living from paycheck to paycheck. It's easy for them to talk about pain when they aren't the ones who suffer. "Short term" - my ass! This will go on for years.

Factory jobs won't come back. It's not the fucking 60's anymore. The old orange idiot has a completely twisted world view.

Expect until the end of Trumps Presidency but probably even afterwords.

We still haven't seen the retaliatory tariffs yet but I expect it sometime in the next few days.

Things are about to get worse.
