I always assumed his lawyer career flopped (including during comicsgate) which is what started his spiral into youtube covering the Amber Herd/Kyle RIttenhouse trials and the spiral never really stopped. I know Null had lionized him for a period of time much to his detriment but Rekeita seemed like a shitty lawyer living on richkid bucks even back before he was anything but a side character to the killstream.
There were two separate events in c.2018 that drew Rekieta into the sektur him calling into Dax's show to weigh in on his lolsuit as an accredited lawyer, and getting caught up in the Montagraph lolsuits via talking about it with Metokur. That jumpstarted his channel where he would just read and discuss legal documents while painting Warhammer 40k models, the celebrity trial stuff and his descent into depravity came years after.
