It only effects Hasbro releases not Takara so it makes me think the price hikes are Hasbro's idea.sale price as the og msrp...
hell.
This was dicey at 90 dollars but at 100 it's rank GARBAGE. Too many cut corners on these combiners compared to combiner wars, and that's saying something.BBTS raised Silverbolt's price to $100.View attachment 7173437
We'll need to wait and see how much prices go up. It'll probably be a couple of dollars for smaller size classes, and maybe no increases for leaders and above. The crossed out numbers are Gamestop's new prices for unreleased deluxes and voyagers.[Large image[
I might have to cut back on collecting for a while.
Still no listing on Amazon. Looks like they (BBTS) are honoring my preorder at $90 though.BBTS raised Silverbolt's price to $100.View attachment 7173437
How to give shockwave a stroke in a sentenceNo I'm not being logical about it.
I'm still holding out hope for an eventual commander class Lugnut.I don't care about tariffs I want hasbro to bring back old lines. No I'm not being logical about it.
At this point commander class has become "voyager with trailer that might turn into a skeleton for combiner lmbs" class and stuff that would be commander class instead is locked behind haslab bundles like deathsaurus was. Yes I am still mad about that.I'm still holding out hope for an eventual commander class Lugnut.
In my experience, Target is the big box retailer that usually does the best when it comes to keeping an up-to-date inventory. Sometimes a Walmart will surprise you, but those are few and far between.Went to Walmart today, as usual nothing on the shelves and some Lego sets were behind glass like the Bumblebee.
The original plan for Deathsaurus was that he would be a retool of 86 Grimlock, with the Breastforce being core class figures. If commander class is going to be where combiner torsos get released, I wish we could get more than 2 a year.At this point commander class has become "voyager with trailer that might turn into a skeleton for combiner lmbs" class and stuff that would be commander class instead is locked behind haslab bundles like deathsaurus was. I wish they weren't 100 FUCKING DOLLARS FOR A HOLLOW LIMB SKELETON AND A VOYAGER FIGURE. Being someone who can't afford to spend 100 upward dollars frequently on action figures things people actually wanted being locked behind timegated 200-300 dollar month long pre order windows a year or 2 in advance the last several years and the limb skeleton thing being an excuse to bump a figures cost to 90 dollars bugs the shit out of me because I just cannot see the value in comparison to stuff from years ago. it's like they've extended the sub service model shit to everything after cancelling that project pricing wise, but instead of paying money to access a shop of exclusive upmarked exclusives you're just paying the higher price for everything sans the shop access, though that's apparently slightly come back with the hasbro pulse 50 dollar free shipping early access stuff. The original plan for Deathsaurus was that he would be a retool of 86 Grimlock, with the Breastforce being core class figures. I can't believe it's now been 10 fucking years since the start of "every non gimmick show tie in toy is locked to deluxe class ball joint full price figure with cheap plastic like the even cheaper gimmick toys". Truly a fucking plague but at least there were weird exceptions with some of the gimmick ones the last few years like cyberverse gnaw where he retained legends class articulation at deluxe class sized gimmick toy. That one gets weirder too because it's based on the legends class g1 toy based gnaw and not the cyberverse sharkticon.I'm also not holding my breath on any shows. RID2015 had it's nice moments imo but that was the beginning of the end for TF shows in my view. Kinda hope the can that like the movies too. The milk/cope that would flow would be funny. To clarify; not internet series.
Go to place here is Toy's R'Us. Target couldn't cut it here. Walmart was fine for awhile, after all I managed to get a few Snarls and Swoops for repaints, but now they don't bring in anything in stock in the boys section except for Lego. Still decent to get collector packs of MtG sets.In my experience, Target is the big box retailer that usually does the best when it comes to keeping an up-to-date inventory.
