As a general rule of thumb: billionaires are impossible to exist without collusion with government forces. It's 100% possible, albeit quite difficult in this day and age, to become a self-made millionaire. Low (I'm talking single digit) millions, sure, but still possible. It's 100% impossible to become a self-made billionaire in the slightest. You'd need to have serious connections with whatever government you're working with, and even then, you'd need to grease a ton of palms along the way.

Elon Musk simps are even more insufferable than Bill Gates and Steve Jobs simps were in the 1990s/2000s. They'll say that he's done nothing but win, but then plug their ears going "la-la-la I can't hear you" when you point out that Tesla and SolarCity would've gone tits-up if the Obama administration didn't flush them with cash via subsidies, discounted loans, tax credits, and other such incentives. That's not even getting into how Elon Musk's father owned a gem mine in South Africa before he emigrated abroad.

SpaceX is quite literally the only company that Elon Musk owns that was capable of surviving without the sheer volume of federal support that Tesla and SolarCity received. Even if they didn't receive NASA contracts, it's not like the aeronautics and space industries exist in a vacuum; SpaceX managed to attract tons of private customers, not to mention investors.

In 2020, during one of Trump's 73 court cases he lost where he claimed voting fraud, a judge asked his lawyers what evidence they had for voting fraud. This was asked under oath.

The lawyer's response? "There is no evidence of widespread voting fraud that cost my client the election. This is a procedural case, not an election fraud case".
