I mean, some unironically do refer to him as a 4D chess player. Which I take as MAGAtard equivalent to "god works in mysterious ways". I just love so much how our options in terms of economic policy were either a tax on "unrealized gains", or this shit. One of the few good parts of the pre-Trump GOP was that they at least pretended to be the party of low taxes and fiscal responsibility, but they don't even do that anymore, and a large segment of Trump's base is seal clapping for this as the manufacturing jobs still don't come back and everything gets more expensive and lower quality.

Hopefully, we can at least get a Tariff Control Act out of this. If the president can't levy other taxes, why the hell can he levy tariffs without congressional approval?

Retardation. Red areas do not have the infrastructure ready yet to support EVs. I had a friend that lives in Texas and she bought a Tesla then sold it like 6 months later because you literally cannot go far when there’s no charging stations for 10s of miles. Same thing when Republicans tried to culture war over “they’re taking the gas stoves!” a little while ago then they realized they had to drop it quickly because their constituents have electric stoves because they don’t have the infrastructure for homes to have gas stoves.
