Wow, nothing about this clip looks fun, why is this game so popular, again?
Zelda style game with elemental gameplay gimmick, more fun to play than watch kind of game overall. The footage is just of the character moveset tutorial segment which is why there's not much there, but I have a feeling you didn't even watch the thing for some reason.
Pedophiles
please don't let this be a leadup to turn another fucking thread into balldoverse/sektur pedo flinging shit PLEASE let this be just the meme thing about genshin or whatever.

Anyways youtube's randomly been recommending me shitpost animations again nvolving sonic cames and ian flynn writing shit.

Isn't the only one that knew how these Chao Gardens work long gone, so no-one in Team Sonic knows how to make them anymore?
Sucks if true, but sucks even more that nobody tried rebuilding the chao garden stuff in sega given how simple yet complex it was. I remember a year or 2 back seeing an ad for some mobile game that was literally just the SA2 chao garden with microtransactions gameplay wise and I felt really fucking upset seeing that shit lmao. NOT sega, obviously! They'd never try using chao for anything other than marketing nowadays lmao.

A game where it forces me to use a specific character for dungeon puzzles rather than allow me to create whatever team i want from the word "go" is NOT my idea of fun.
Usually it's a vague thing that applies to a wide variety of characters like some kind of pressure plate or an element marker. If you just go with the characters the game throws at you for free with no rng roll stuff though yeah you're gonna be stuck with specific characters type stuff. Even being the kind of person that enjoyed DK64's variant of that I understand why some people wouldn't be into that kind of gameplay. Natlan characters REALLY lean into that DK64-esque stuff with how they all got a movement set that imitates the region gimmick various dinosaurs you can play as. So grass guys are gonna have grappling hooks, rock ones are gonna have wall climbing, water guys are gonna have surf, so on so forth. If you have enough natlan guys to make a party full of them you've basically got DK64 minus blue banana type shit.

What I don't understand is the people that throw money at it and never play the fucking game and then bitch on twitter and reddit about it "taking advantage of them". Like mother fucker someone destroyed their relationship over trying to multi roll furina to build the small duplicate roll buffs apperently. For further context, that's a character who's only obtainable as a mainstay playable party member through rng rolls that has an extremely gimmicky moveset compared to other characters. Charge attack doesn't charge attack but instead switches between healing and attack mode, and the attack mode's element ability of basically doing aquaman shit of summoning sealife to attack SLOWLY KILLS YOUR OWN PARTY VIA HP DRAIN.

I've already beaten it, but still, I'd just like to say: fuck this thing. Worst first boss ever.

Western creatives in just about any field, animation, comic, and especially video games are becoming increasingly more and more terminally online, leading to shit like this.
I don't remember if I posted any of it here or if I just laughed at it on my own time, but when frontiers came out I randomly looked at Japanese Twitter reactions to it and Google translated them and it was all people calling the story American dogshit and Sonic needs to be written by the Japanese again or needs more of a combination because it's a Japanese/American coproduction. I don't remember the specifics but there were some old Japanese sonic fans who were saying it was better when they had more control.

Do the IDW books and stuff come out there? From what i understand despite their obsession with their culture, the japanese people are not particularly tolerant of trans people and think western gender shit is retarded. I wonder if their fanbase over there would be more upset to know it's almost entirely faggots into it over here.
What's the point of DC crossing over with anything, anyway
I don't think this is particularly fair, the comic isn't very good and nothing interesting will come from it, and it's a corporate cash grab but it's going to do it's intended job fine. Which is for little kids who like sonic and the jla to get to see them together. It doesn't merit much thought because really this is only for a 7 year old, which is fine. I'd rather they make comics for children that make no sense but are fun adventures for them over indoctrinating them into being gay furries by slipping their proclivities or subliminal messages into what should be innocent inconsequential stories for a child with fun and easy to understand character arcs. If Flynn can deliver just that with this stupid JLA crossover that's more positive he's done for the brand in 20 years of working on it.

Frontiers' plot was okay, I suppose, if try-hard, and the main cast navel-gazing while Sonic was standing here was awkward. The final boss sucks, as usual. Also, there was a somewhat hidden collectible audio log where Eggman talked about how he impressed he was at Amy being such a strong lady. A reminder that they haven't interacted in decades, and the last thing they did (in games at least), he was holding her as a hostage, at gunpoint.

Japs' equivalent of trannies as guys with clown make-up, not the deranged worship that went overboard since the late 2010s here. IDW doesn't have things too obvious if you don't check social networks, but the main issue of IDW is that it's boring and can't do anything since it's tied to the games.

It's slightly better in the Master System version, but that's not saying much.
The shrunken Game Gear resolution REALLY hurts these games, because with something like a platformer, needing to see a wide space around your character is absolutely a necessity for future planning regarding how you progress forward/backward. The Sonic games are the most egregious example of this because ontop of doing everything else, you have to go Chaos Emerald hunting, and in Sonic 2 specifically they are in places where no one would EVER think to look for them (i.e. the fucking clouds at the very top of the screen).

Back then I also had Chuck Rock 1 and Donald Duck The Lucky Dime Caper, and BOTH those game's difficulty were cranked to 11 because of the tiny screen resolution, what with enemies and objects just flying at you like a jumpscare. I get not wanting to be like the GameBoy with "are these games for blind ants???" screen, but I feel like this could have been done better.

The Mario Advance series got hit with this, too. At least the GG Sonic 2 implies (probably accidentally) that Tails died, so there's that.

Didn't they interact n the racing spinoffs and the advanced games?

Most sonic games when you don't get all the collectibles just go "haha try again dumbass" at the end after the credits roll, but then you got odd games like this one where tails died offscreen or the one from chaotix that's been posted a few times now where before the credits roll it just jump cuts to a burning city with metal sonic floating looking directly at the camera for the entire credits sequence.

I think that's supposed to be a mistranslation of the japanese text where they say he's a wannabe womanizer
Yeah basically, but it's listed as one of the "positives" overshadowed by his ego and obsessions so probably more accurately a "ladies man".

Also, more so on the movies then the games, as I've seen all the movies. Am i the only one that think Agent Stone will be the main villain in Sonic 4? Considering he's utterly fanatical to Robotnik, i could easily see him being a Snively and overtaking what's left of Robotnik's tech and waging a war to "avenge" his idol, maybe he even created Metal sonic (which my theory is that its a Robotnik plan made during the 3 movies, just that Stone finished it going into Movie 4). And also i wish they would make Agent stone semi canon to the games, as like just a lackey for Eggman in the game, considering in fronteirs they made reference to IDW comic characters (surge iirc) (but i dont agree with the shipping fans do of robotnik and stone)

I was playing Sonic Origins Plus (yes, I know all about the problems with that too) and decided to try some of the Game Gear games while I was at it.

Needless to say, if I ever play it again, it'll be the Master System version.
Played Sonic Triple Trouble yet? It's the only 8 bit Sonic game that reaches the quality of the genesis games .
