The dogs garnered sympathy by playing the role of the oppressed victim and gained sympathy and support from many onlookers, but the dogs were pitbulls and proceeded to eat everyone including the onlookers
The "onlookers" were the ones who threw them into fighting rings and bet on them.
Jesse, what the fuck are you talking about?
He's saying American citizens deserve to be perpetually buttfucked by China and the Uniparty, because Orange Man Ultra Bad or some shit.

Your impending cannibalization.

Uh huh, ever heard of what happened to Haiti after they overthrew their "oppressors"?
America isn't primarily populated by feral bulbheads (yet), and doesn't have a culinary tradition of dirt cookies and human flesh.

In all likelihood, we will have forgotten about this by the end of the month.

Didn't last time Trump tried to do targeted Tarriffs against China they just transported everything to Mexico, repackaged it and sent it tariff free to the other side of the fence?
They would ship shit to Los Angeles and move it on a customs exemption for Mexico bound cargo, once in Mexico the merchandise would be shipped back to the US.

It's probably not going to be hilarious in the way you think but yeah.
Then please enlighten me.
You seem to have done nothing here but whine and cry in sympathy the parties being rightfully in many cases fucked by these tariffs You don't get to have your cake and eat it too. Curious as to why you would though.
"My stupid wife is only a little less retarded now" is a new cope I haven't seen before.
Odd way of stating you're a incel with a low opinion of women. Not really my fault no one wants to fuck you.
Dogs that bite the hands of their owners usually just starve to death

This is kind of fun to watch, and your hot takes are always interesting in a way, as they say more about you than whoever it is you're denigrating. I mean they're stupid and they follow that same leftist pattern I keep seeing where anyone who wants to change the status quo is insulted, cajoled and heckled. Are you expecting anyone to agree with you or would you just like to throw a tantrum because orange man bad?

I'm not crying in sympathy, I'm crying in laughter. Trump has eviscerated both Republicans and the Democrats, and now he's about to eviscerate the populists. He might be the greatest person America has ever created.

I look forward to you changing up the status quo.

Not all progress is right and changing the status quo simply for the sake of change should not necessarily be supported. This is not a leftist standpoint.

This is cope and you just stating that you were pretending to be retarded, but I can you don't have sympathy you're at least right there.

In certain cases I'd agree with this premise, but not this time. Just doing the same thing for years has made things worse for your average person for a while now. Why do we have to keep doing the same thing if the status quo fucking sucks.

for other people who didn't know the totality of china tarriffs is 54%, 20% base + 34% retaliatory. Found out today as I yelled at an importer for raising their prices by 50ish%. so yeah, its not 34%.

we're passing the costs onto the customer, 54% isn't manageable. 10-20% was bareable, 34% would've been tie-loosening, but 54% is a killer. the question becomes how much is passed on to the customer.

That's the base tariff, shit from China like lasers for machine tooling (HTS 8456.11.10) it's 54% Base + 3%. Or pearls (HTS 7018.10.10) being 54% + 25% = 79%

GOD DAMN. I'm starting to wonder if the push for manufacturing is going to work at all.

at least chinese new years is over. just have to eat the costs and see where we are in a month or two.

factories are going to start closing their doors as European tool machines come under tariffs and resources like titanium are restricted from china
things are about to get more retarded than previously believed

I think that is the interesting part. Economies are now global and highly dependend on each other.

I just wonder what is your take on China being pretty quick with their broad response to the tariffs? Are they calling the US out and think the US is bluffing? Do they want to send a signal to the rest of the world?
The US is the biggest consumer market. Followed by the EU and China. Maybe reverse. The EU is currently not saying much but I am interested in how they could respond. If the majority of the world goes and calls the bluff - I think the US would face significant challenges.

I think broad tariffs are just dumb. As example: Imagine the Airbus/Boeing competition. Airbus can currently source from the whole world, including the US without the insane tariffs. Thus will be able to deliver far cheaper planes. Of course, selling those planes to the US is probably not going to work out. But the rest of the world? Probably, since Boeing will face import tariffs on every single piece of equiptment they have to import.

Another example on a topic I currenly am reading about is clothing. I don't see anyone wanting to bring back sewing jobs to the US. Even brought over the salaries would be miserable. At least the tariffs will stop the average US consumer to buy more than >50 pieces of clothing every year. A win for the environment at least.

My personal thought is that the US is going to loose this round, if only because US exports to China are AG products, which means they can be very simply substituted (even at lower efficiency).
There are a few lines of thought:
1) They think think they can win and are going to play hardball(This is the one I feel from talking to multiple party members and manufactures*)
2) They were trying to minimize the PR fallout of this (it was the weekend, plausible)
3) It was a retarded reactionary bitchslap response by Xi (Doubt.jpg)
4) Bluffing as a response instead of negotating like last time (possible).

*A few anecdotes when I asked some business owners / party members. They seem pretty upbeat but they are not your average working man.

The US cannot compete because the American (people) are fat and lazy, and suffer from end state capitalism. There is no space for a modern Andrew Carnige to push out the old money without being killed by the massive, stifling bureaucracy (TL: LOL) and interest groups, and the American worker will not tolerate the sweat and blood required to bring back manufacturing.
The US has lost the experience and theory for modern (automated) shift work, and the American would likely riot than go back to the days of factory work by becoming 'poorer' after being hopped up on crack from globalization for the last 30 years of cheap shit.
America has niggers, beaners, and whites. Whites will not suffer sweatshop conditions. Beaners do not have the capacity for high efficiency skilled shiftwork. A nigger only knows how to rape, steal, and destroy while it leaches off the other two.
They have repeated the mistakes of Hitler (Two+ front war, referring to Russia, China, EU) but with neither the societal cohesion, leadership ability, nor the manufacturing capability to come as close to Moscow in 1940.
We (CPC) are not like the United States, where they are contingent on public sentiment and elections. The electorate will not tolerate such pain whereas here we shall command them to tolerate such pain for a greater tomorrow.
How can you bring back manufacturing when Americans demand $20+ wages?
US manufacturing cannot compete with 100% automated production lines. Even if it did there is no role for the average American to work there.
We will buy raw materials from the rest of the world for bater if be. They (US) can go fuck themselves after the niggers start rioting. Their only leverage is to bomb people, that's generally not good for business
Anything they make in the USA, we can make at 30% the price and 80% of the quality if we wanted to
The Trump administration has not thought this out. You cannot bring back manufacturing by tariffs alone. For example, the EPA will kill manufacturing unless Congress relaxes the rules. I think not of it being likely that much manufactruing will come to the USA.
(Young) Americans have not suffered, Americans in fact have not suffered the 1930s (Silent generation). They do not remember the pain of famine, unheated buildings, shacks with mud roofs. They will be shocked and will not work for such meager wages offered to bring back manufacturing.
Niggers will burn down DC and end the USA before they will work.
This last two struck me as prophetic in a sense:
They have not fought, until now, they are now forced to fight with no hope at all (TL: Churchill quote). Much like the restoration of the Kommemos to the Byzantines, or Majorian to Rome, or hundred days (reform) before the fall of the Manchus. You cannot arrest the decline of a society with no binding values or morals, intense demographic change (Hispanics/Niggers), and subhuman IQ (Niggers and nigger worshippers)
If done sucessfully, Trump will be written down amongst the greatest, perhaps greater than the likes of Jackson, Regan, or Lincon. If done incorrectly as now, he will be written down as Diogenes to Manzikert, or Chinese history Tang Xuanzong (Caused the An Lushan rebellion).

Unless Trump exempts the machinery for manufacturing it'll only bring back a few token manufactures conglomerates (think Boeing). Hows a fucking regular joe supposed to start an industrial empire when he can't import the damn machines to make more machines?

this guy has us figured out. we can't even rebuild LA thanks to the regulations. https://archive.is/sZoQn
A black city/township sued corpus christi, tx for trying to open a desalination plant, also complaining about pollution from the refineries.
And then there's the lawsuit against the siracha factory and the one against jack daniels for the black mold or whatever they pipe out.

Even if the EPA grants permission, land near an employee base is rare and it'd be a wonder if people move for a factory job.
