That LARP metaphor seems more apt every day.

I really don't get the point of this, was this some sort of statement that their antifa believes will protect them from "hate"? Or did they seriously believe a tiny painted plywood shield is going to defend them if violence broke out?

Also that variation of the antifa symbol looks a lot of like the airforce emblem of Fascist Italy. Good work making yourselves look even more fascist, Antifa.

The shields are designed to block nonlethal ammo used by police. The ones I'd seen to this point were made out of foam and plastic, plywood like that could block projectiles but would be as liable to splinter. The rivets are really stupid and I'm surprised this was repeated over several shields, if the shield gets weakened and they get hit right by a bean bag one of those would be liable to jam into the wearer's arm or skull.

The disguises are especially laughable. They would be more effective if each person did not still have a litany of special snowflake hair, dyes, and tattoos which are still quite visible. During the anti-Milo riots at Berkeley, a school employee was able to be identified by his still-visible neck tattoo. And the fact that he live-Tweeted his part in the rioting and did a shitty job covering his tracks, which I guess is another bigger flaw in the whole ANTIFA lifestyle.

That's like walking into a conveince store, walking up to the cashier, then putting the mask on right in front of him/her just before robbing it.
