While yes, changing your mind in light of new evidence is part of the learning process, saying your "confident" something will happen when you don't have all the details does more harm than good.

In his recent U.S. sightings, he's always wearing jeans. I'm surprised the denim skirt has made a come-back, I thought having Flutter accessible was subduing his narcissistic AGP tendencies? Not to go tin foil, but OP being a one-and-done poster and Chris wearing something we haven't seen in a bit does lend credence to the idea of this being taken prior and planted (either for weenish attention seeking or muddying the water).
Guess we'll just have to wait and see if there are any more sightings in Finland.

I'm probably wrong but I have half a theory that Chris could be scared of the current political climate against trannies and all the libs' doomposting he probably saw on twitter/bluesky about the "trans genocide", so he's dressing more or less normally while in the US. And he does live in redneck/hillibilly country so it's not unlikely that maybe someone shouted at him and spooked him.
But so far we don't have enough domestic full-body sightings to say for sure if his style really changed.

Even with the current political climate, Virginia's sort of in-between when it comes to laws directed towards trans people. He also lives close to Charlottesville, which is pretty damn liberal. Chris could honestly be living in worse places in the country right now if he's really that paranoid.

That was my initial thought since he was politically aware enough to make the Kamala signs, but Chris has had negative public interactions his entire life and its never deterred him from his antics.

Then again, there's the 2012 poster campaign, where a few photoshopped images of anti-Chris posters were enough for Chris to lock himself in the house for several days out of paranoia, post and tweet 20 times a day freaking out about it, and harass the police over it.

Chris fears the idea of mass harassment more than he fears the harassment itself when it actually happens. That seems to be what's kept him so quiet the past couple years (maybe Caden finally figured this out), and what's kept him even more off-the-grid since the start of the year.

Even back in 2009. When Clyde Cash or whatever troll directly threatened Chris, he acted tough and seemed more pissed than intimidated. But whenever Chris was told "x troll is coming after you with his minions" or "the trolls are gonna hack your website", or when he became convinced that thousands of fans were falling in line with Liquid Chris, he freaked the fuck out even though in the vast majority of those cases there was literally no truth behind it.
