The lawsuit wasn't about people being happy when schizos who slandered them ruthlessly for years pass away. Anybody would be happy at that death. (Anybody who says otherwise is lying.)

The lawsuit was about whether Billy Mitchell caused that death in the first place. The evidence, including a fucking suicide video, proved it didn't. So Billy won. Again.

Here's the most entertaining way to frame the story: Billy bankrupt Apollo, Apollo committed suicide because of it and tried to blame other people because he was ashamed and Billy emerged as the victor.

Not content with just killing one speedrunner, Billy has now moved onto Jobst and will bankrupt him until he commits suicide.

Billy Mitchell has had enough of speedrunners (as has everyone else) and is going to restore video gaming to its former glory.

In a sick way it would be fucking funny if he does actually kill himself over this.
Although I'd like to be clear that even if it were to happen, that still would not make Billy Mitchell responsible for somebody's suicide: This is 100% on Karl. His trial was fucking suicide, thinking you could win, never backing down when he had multiple opportunity. I hate Billy but he is not completely responsible for this trial.

That's a pretty well-written summary. You raise some very interesting points. After initially being on Karl's side; after hearing this and more information coming out about him, plus the fact that he's a tranny lover, makes me, sadly, as someone who was and still is a huge fan of his work, believe that maybe he got what he deserved after all.

I mean to be fair Billy is still a piece of shit and a vexatious litigant by most people's standards. He just lucked out that Jobst got so emotional about this stupid slapfight that he made the claim that Billy caused someone's suicide.

If Jobst can somehow reignite the passion of Billy haters (which is the basis of most of his online career/celebrity) then he can probably get some more money out of it. But I don't see that happening.
