It's the leftists mindset. No matter what happened the left will always go to defense for the black suspects because of racism. Even if white victim was attacked randomly and didn't provoke his or her attacker(s), the left will come out against them. Don't forget the cluster fuck that was Jena Six.

They will happily support a white tranny who raped and murdered a pair of black lesbians (Dana Rivers is who I am referring to), but black murderer vs white football jock? Black wins, instant KO. I have to refer once again to Anna Slatz's grand unified theory of leftist victim hierarchy:

I think part of it is a way of signalling social status. By supporting socially destructive behavior they are tacitly signalling that they are part of the social class that isn't going to be adversely affected by this sort of socially destructive behavior. Even with regards to black criminals, the vast majority of their victims are other black people. So by empowering them they are harming the more responsible members of the black community who are going to have to deal with their bullshit. But that doesn't matter to the white liberal, because they are materially comfortable enough that they think this will never catch up with them.

You know for the most part I think people on both sides of the political spectrum are crazy, but I can never see myself on the left. Even if one wants to argue that this isn't the majority of people on the left, the fact that there's a large amount of vocal leftists who have white guilt/self hatred for their own race is so...insane to me. I'm a straight white guy and why should I vote for the party that tells me I have "White privilege" and has this mentality that minority groups can do no wrong? Not saying the right is any better but this mentality isn't nearly as mainstream with right wingers as it is with leftists.

I still think of myself as left wing for the most part. But the fundamental problem is that for left wing policy to work there needs to be a certain level of aggregate social trust. And I'm just not sure that exists in America. And it doesn't help that the people who call themselves leftists are the main ones set on destroying what social trust we have left.
