So back in the day Ben Franklin made a political cartoon urging the colonies to unite against the British:

It was mostly associated with libertarians up until the Tea Party adopted it during the Obama years and it became more or less permanently associated with right wing groups.

It’s okay though, the artist (holleringelk on Instagram) now has a comic arc called “The Reckoning”, where his/her? wendigo sona presumably tears apart Musk and Trump.

And to be honest, I now struggle with deciding on whether things like this belong in this thread or the SJW art one, since so many fucking online artists have turned to hamfisting their politics into their works.

Until I read your comment I mistakenly thought that was the point. I thought the NPC in this was a leftist and was having it's programming swapped out from CRT to DEI but is still in the exact same angry-state before and after.

Only now do I realize it's supposed to be a conservative and the change is what the conservative is angry about (because presumably they are always angry about something). And the tip off for this is just that the hand is red? These leftist memes are wild.
