It's funny. I didn't even actively pursue my interest around the internet until the 2020s, both the same year of the whole George Floyd riots and my first introductions to Kiwifarms, though I stayed as a lurker for 4-5 years. I'm pretty sure even without a phone, I still wouldn't have fallen into the whole indoctrination of things that were being pushed all over our faces.

Same man, I felt a little awkward off and on about being one of the only kids in my high school to not have a phone, but looking back on it, I am grateful to my parents for not allowing me to have one until my senior year.

I know someone did one about how OPL could possibly be demonically possessed by something that convinced him it was "Sonichu", and honestly, with how demons work, I wouldn't be surprised if Chris did invite some bad shit into his life at one point...

Sometimes being boring is admirable. There's a true crime Youtuber called Stayawake that's notable for his videos being under an hour long and for being sort of dry in his presentation, and of all the JCS clones he's my favorite.
