Oh, would you look at that: the thing I (and others) predicted would happen, happened.
Oh god, reminds me of trying to convince people Russia and China aren’t actually best friends

Like did anyone notice how Europe pretends to be afraid that Russia is going to take over the whole continent unless the US spends all its hardware, munitions and money RIGHT NOW?

It’s because when they say “a multipolar world,” they mean “Europe and China”

If they were really worried about Russia, they’d press China for supporting Russia. But they never criticize China

They really should’ve invaded Taiwan when Russia invaded Ukraine. Then we wouldn’t have done shit
Still had the invasion-barges they recently rolled out to build. But they’re definitely gonna wait until Trump/Vance are out of office (then the talking heads will blame Trump for not solving an intractable diplomatic issue that the democrats Totally Would Have (tm) solved).

I should not have looked at all those comments on the video. What a blackpill and a headache reading all of that. I don't know how to begin describing how repulsive this behavior is. I also don't know how politicians can continue to make a kabuki theater show about "unity" when that is not possible anymore when your whole country is full of people like this. And honestly as a right winger myself (though not GOP or Libertarian) I don't want any unity with the left in any form mostly because of tribalist Democrat voter people like this. At all.
Yeah. It's frustrating when those same people act like they have any moral high ground.

I’m 100% convinced China was desperately hoping Trump wouldn’t win.
China wants to try and pass the US economically. That has been Xi Jinping's strategy since he took power. All these countries capitulating to Trump puts China in a rough position that they sorta put themselves in. Their only options now are to cooperate or try to turn Africa and Central Asia into a dumping ground for consumer goods that no one wants or can afford.

Remember that EU politicians are all faceless bureaucrats who’ve never had to win an actual election. They have no leadership skills because they’ve never actually lead anyone.
Nor I but even I understand the condition on not going against the deal is the fact that one was made in the first place and Trump has rather publicly said you should do whatever the person breaking the deal is doing back.

I think they cooked up the Ukraine invasion with Russia to act as a test case. Russia wanted them to distract the US by invading Taiwan, and that’s about all they wanted.

Russia looked weak when they didn’t decapitate Ukraine in a US style modern blitz, and then China was like “oh, so russia isn’t as strong as we thought. We might get too much attention, invading Taiwan right now.”

They worried too much and didn’t give the Biden admin enough credit for how big of pussies they are.

Then everyone was pretty sick of the US and wanted us to deplete ourselves in Ukraine to exhaust the old bipolar world order

"I'm in Love with the Villainess" because the faggot author put all their creative thought into explaining the only reason gays are bullied is because their bullies are secretly closeted trannies.
I wish was making that up.
Shoutout to this oldie but goldie, people are still praising how le hecking brave and stunning the author of this series was for EPICALLY "calling out" Japanese society for being more accepting of incest smut than gay smut, and how people who think being gay is a sin also jerk off to Oreimo, hypocritical much heerrrmmmmmm?

Despite the very book she's writing this very deep and biting social commentary in itself being shallow lesbian-fetish coomer isekai slop that was popular among normies.

With the full breadth of Trump’s tariffs slated to kick in on Wednesday, Apple is stockpiling iPhone inventory in the United States as quickly as possible. A new report from The Times of India today says that part of Apple’s strategy to limit the impact of these tariffs is to stockpile as much inventory as possible in the United States…

According to senior Indian officials cited in the report, Apple flew five planes full of iPhones and other products from India and China “in just three days during the final week of March.”

“Factories in India and China and other key locations had been shipping products to the US in anticipation of the higher tariffs,” one source to The Times of India

Apple currently assembles the entire iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 lineups in India as well as China. A 10% baseline tariff on all imports into the United States kicked in on Saturday. On April 9, the tariffs that Trump has falsely labeled as “reciprocal” will kick in. This will raise the tariff rate on imports from China to 54% and imports from India to 27%.

By stockpiling as much inventory as possible in the United States, Apple can delay the impact of the tariffs. It’s unclear just how much inventory Apple has on hand in the US right now, but if there’s one thing I know, it’s to never doubt Tim Cook’s supply chain prowess.

If Apple is able to stockpile enough iPhone inventory in the US for the foreseeable future, it could stave off having to increase iPhone prices until the iPhone 17 launch this fall. Its other products, however, might not be so lucky. For example, most build-to-order configurations of the Mac ship straight from Apple’s factories in China to consumers in the United States.

AAPL stock is down nearly 5% today and down 18% in the last five days on the impact of Trump’s tariffs.

…and while I was writing this story, Trump took to social media to threaten an additional 50% tariff starting Wednesday on imports from China unless the country walks back its 34% retaliatory tariff. That would bring the total tariff on imports from China to a whopping 104%. You can’t make this up.

Nah, I think Putin went fucking crazy and thought that invading Ukraine would work.

Scuttlebutt is that, during COVID, Putin was really afraid of getting sick and basically sequestered himself the entire time while only communicating with a handful of people. One of them was Dugin. He basically did the world leader equivalent of spending too much time in the basement and then he went out to touch grass.

The US response was fucky because no one expected it to happen, like Saddam with Kuwait.
