I unironically think phil has based his perception of how the world works/should work on tv shows and movies he watched in the 80s and 90s. Mature adults on the tv have wifes, he is a meaningful adult, he should have a robust wife too!

Wow, he really saw that he got the most money for doing jack shit and decided to do it again.

DSPGaming is dead.

I'm calling it now: in a year (tops) the rewards will be gaming streams. No more fast food (that will be behind the camera), just every 10 goals Phil will do a gaming stream where he will (at most) play 1 hour. It's clear gaming will become a "reward" on DSPGaming.

tbh if Phil was a bit smarter I would legit think this was his end goal. He has been known to have made his streams as boring as fucking possible in order to not ever give detractors any potential win. But I could imagine if he was a tiny bit smarter that he'd deliberately be reading here and making the streams more and more insufferable.

I mean lets face facts here: the streams have been progressively more insufferable since he started his YouTube career and detractors are "forced" to watch and discuss this shit.

I would agree with you except for the fact that everything he tries to do other than gaming he always quits it after a few tries, Smark Guys revival being the exception. He absolutely is sick of gaming though, that much has been obvious to anyone for a while now.
I don't know what he'd do if he did decide to stop or even cut back on gaming, I'm hoping even he realizes that 'chill' or Q&A streams with his viewers would get boring and tired after several consecutive streams.

You are gettin top hats but i dont think it's necessarily a bad thing anymore. There's not much more you can do at this point but get mad at a guy who progressively gets worst and worst and idiots reward his behavior.

It's like he purposely overloaded RPGs and other non nothing special slop on his schedule so people would just end up not donating as much because it's just iredeemable Phil gaming style content.

It's one thing to get mad at bad stupid man at videogame, it's another gettin mad at a very insufferable all around human(arguable) who's purposely sandbagging every aspect of his life and making others pay for it.

From a watching standpoint it sucks. Just have to turn it off. Couldn't imagine what it's like living or being around him. There's a reason Kat is fat playin skyrim and his friends in life fucked off.

Unlikely. DSP seems to think he lives an actually interesting life.
He doesn't go out, doesn't travel, doesn't read, doesn't follow the news or events in any sort of sensicle manner, doesn't have any friends, doesn't have any family, doesn't actually play games (he just glosses them over at this point), doesn't listen to music, doesn't watch movies, doesn't cook, doesn't have any hobbies, doesn't collect anything and his entire existence is boring.

His sole claim to fame is children's fighting games which have fairly limited appeal and the only interest people have in him is trolling him or asking him what he had for dinner last night.

There's no way to fix this either because as others have said his brains is so dopamine fried from WWE champions that he simply doesn't enjoy anything else.

If he doesn't do gaming he literally has nothing else of substance to offer the world - and even then the livestreamer market is absolutely jam packed with wannabes who are more interesting than DSP and have less popularity than he does and don't make anywhere near as much money as he does.

Add into this the fallout from the tariff action and there's going to be a hiring freeze for at least the next 6-12 months and whatever other impacts on the economy. Companies are going to be shutting down and unemployment is likely to increase. Even if they reverse the tariffs immediately the economic ramifications are going to be felt.
The livestreamer market and online on-demand-style khantent creator market is very likely going to get fucking flooded in the next few weeks as people are laid off.

If DSP knows what is good for him he won't experiment too much and will do whatever he can to keep the dents turning up which is currently gaming and streaming 6 days a week.

He had a chance to branch off with KC but he fucked it up and he has increasingly little wiggle room left for his "brand"

So yeah it makes sense to say he won't be gaming by the end of 2025 but no one, including DSP, has an answer for what he'll be doing instead - we've just seen that PWR has already managed to surpass him in views and interest in like 2 weeks of streaming.
