I was actually interested how Trump supporters could believe he makes good deals when people can easily check that it's shit, or why people think brown immigration will stop when they publicly support it and have already replaced a bunch of Americans with jeets. But I guess it's just the Tim Pool civil war daydream.
As a resident politisperg I feel obligated to explain how we got here:
There is a lot of handwavey boomer-blaming at the moment but what it all boils down to is that the average American citizen, year-over-year, has less, gains less, and generally has less to look forward to. They have been priced out of traditional symbols of upwards mobility like housing and find themselves competing for jobs with the entire third world, which has been imported en masse into this world so that powerful people have an unquestioning horde of slaves that they can pay literally poverty wages towards and control via threat of green card revocation at the expense of the native population.
Good people do not want this and obviously want change, so they go into the system and attempt to make things better by playing by the rules, only to discover that this is impossible because the system is specifically set up to punish you for trying. Precedent like the Citizens United ruling effectively makes it legal and permissible for powerful people to fuck you and push you out if you attempt to make real change. Even Trump, holding the highest office in the land, has been blocked and denied over and over again by organs of the system who hate him for trying to make things better for people. The system does not allow you to make real change because that would be contradictory to its own aims.
So you enter Trump, this insane, vengeful dude who, like others before him, tried to play by the rules of the system and got fucked. Except this time Trump has a ton of his own power and popularity and can essentially tell the system to go fuck itself and do his own thing. And people like that, because they're also done playing by the rules. They're done arguing about precedent, and they're done getting stonewalled by status quo worshippers who don't want anything to change for the better because it might impact their bottom line.
People don't give a shit about the rules when they're treated like subhumans in their own country. Nobody cares about the stock market or some other liberal boomer pet issue because of all of the above. Even if Trump was literally a rabid fucking chimpanzee who swung around on the oval office chandelier and signed EOs with a signature made from his own smeared excrement, the people who voted for him would cheer it on because they don't care about the system. Why should they? The system fucking hates them.
Either Trump improves everything because he's a genius or tears it all down because he's a retard. In either cases, Trump voters get what they want. If the uniparty didn't want a bunch of political nihilists then they should not have created them.
