Does anybody else remember when "Elon Musk is LITERALLY real world Tony Stark" was a thing? Like, that was a thing you heard people say in articles and things like that? People get hooked on the truth, and think since they are such a big figure with such a platform, they believe are on their side. So when the lies come, they discount it. Because they are already now on the team. In this particular case. I believe Musk acted as he did, because he felt as a narcissist, that the diver personally insulted him. So he pulled out some truths.
