I have a memory of Jobst harassing KevinDDR, that guy who used to play Grandmaster Tetris at GDQ a decade ago, until he quit the internet for a few years. Googling around now, it looks like it was over some fucking twitch chat emote where Jobst labelled an eggplant "karljobstJAP", and when Kevin was like "where are the twitch standards?" Jobst told his discord to go do some harassing.

and well deserved tbh, if narcing to twitch jannies over some gay emote even so much as crosses your mind i think you should make like apollo and kys immediately.

jobst later made a video complaining about people being on his case about this however where he denied everything and called the emote drama "an innocent misunderstanding" which makes him equally gay. the emote was a pixellated eggplant as a reference to jap porn censorship, because somehow karl in his degenerate brain thought the average viewer would immediately understand that to mean "japanese! oh yeah! japan!"

Do you by chance have any receipts of this? This would be the second known instance of Jobst running gayops.

Thanks for this. I was passingly aware of Jobst before the lawsuit news dropped (saw several of his videos, knew there was a lawsuit, didn't know many details but, like everyone else, was under the impression it had to do with Billy's cheating), but knew nothing about Jobst as a person, or the community he was in.

I'd also been aware of Apollo before his death, but didn't know anything beyond the handful of Apollo's videos I'd seen way back in the long long ago (the tranny backstabbing stuff is all new to me, though not surprising), and I even distinctly remember being told that Apollo was driven to suicide by Billy. I'm pretty sure Jobst was where I heard that, as he's the only "speedrunning drama" channel I can ever remember watching (I do sometimes watch other speedrunning channels, but it's almost always drama-free, maximum-autism stuff like Summoning Salt and Bismuth).

The more I dig into Jobst, the crazier things get, and it seems that a lot of people in the lolsuit threads either know the case and drama by heart already (and thus may take for granted that readers are up to speed), or else are just as lost as me. Definitely looking forward to a full OP on Karl, so I can get up to speed before he finishes his 41% run.

KJ: In 2012 I got a job with a credit card company doing more processing back end. 1 had that job from 2012 until 2018, but over that time it evolved into more customer service--1 was confirming income details, checking pay slips, making sure people could afford the credit card for
new applications. The job really went downhill the more I had to talk with customers. And then eventually my job became kind of redundant, and they wanted to put me in collections, which is calling overdue accounts and requesting payment. I would find that to be worse than sales, to

They tend to put fuckups/low IQ people in collections.
