Unless I missed something he never said that he did call Paul's work, and he only pondered aloud how he probably should or would because either 1) if the calls and texts were from Paul (which even Aaron admitted he doesn't believe) then TownSquare should have a right to know that they have a lunatic on their hands, or 2) if the calls and texts were not from Paul then TownSquare and Paul collectively should have a right to know that someone is impersonating Paul in a manner harmful to their brand. This too would be a dick move if he meant it seriously because it leaves out Door #3 which would have been to simply contact Paul in private to ask "hey, am I correct in assuming this wasn't you," but in the moment it frankly did sound like a joking manner pointing out the sheer absurdity of the situation.

If it were a dead-serious threat and he actually followed through on it, then you'd think Paul would have said so by now through the easy channels Moody has made available to him, but instead there hasn't been a peep from him since.

If it were out there someone would archive it, and if they don't, he could just act like the real culprits deleted it too quickly or act like it must have been in some private subreddit or DMs that were never going to be found, so at the end of the day the claim is never falsifiable. The only way to ever know would be if Herren ever quits pussyfooting around with insinuations about how it "would be weird" if something maybe happened and instead just makes a direct accusation and posts receipts, which seems unlikely considering how he's withdrawn from the drama altogether including not even having clipped for weeks.

I'm sure there's a lot of crossover between all the different alog groups. I know I probably wouldn't have ever heard of Steel Toe without following DSP. A couple years ago Aaron tried to leech off the detractors before going all in with the Dabbleverse because he saw shitting on DSP gave him more views. He was trying to play the moral high ground and say his way of begging for money wasn't as bad as DSP, but he gave up after a short time because everyone could see he wasn't any different.
