Delay Trump until the Midterms
Rig the Midterms
Impeach Trump after the Midterms
I assume that after the last several years of becoming a laughingstock, the Democratic party will have started to regroup under new leadership by then to start regaining ground with a new plan of attack. The smarter ones seem to be easing off the progressive mindrot and orangemanbad hysteria a little and started to move back toward openness to some degree of bipartisan cooperation/compromise, showing outward respect to people with different viewpoints and at least pretending to hear them out. They would be retarded on a level I never thought possible if we get to the midterms and it's still the same few swamp creatures refusing to do anything except repeat the exact same tactic that failed on each of their multiple previous attempts.
>Trump re-opens public asylums
>tons of libshit protestors end up committed to asylums because they refuse to identity themselves to law enforcement

A man can dream.
The propaganda machine got a fresh influx of money, thus the "hands off" protests this week -- which are based on another bald faced lie, that Trump is coming after Social Security / Medicare / etc.
Everyone knows it'd be political suicide via shotgun blast to the face to come after the tugboats. But that would legitimately be the funniest way to implement some cuts that could plausibly make a real difference. It'd eliminate a massive chunk of disability malingerers in one fell swoop if all they did is change eligibility requirements so psychiatric diagnoses alone aren't enough to qualify you for SSI/SSDI unless you're actually so unwell that you live in an institution. The actual severe headcases and addicts that are homeless and shitting up the big cities would be taken care of properly, meanwhile the pot-smoking SSRI-popping deadbeats who sit around jerking off all day claiming "depreshun&anxiety" would almost all be miraculously healed of their inability to work real fucking fast the second it's suggested that if they are really experiencing mental illness so severe and debilitating that it renders them unable to care for themselves, then it is only appropriate to confine them to an asylum indefinitely. Oh, and asylums can't allow inmates free internet access or smartphones, forgot that part but it's a pretty crucial requirement for this to work.
Would the party that implemented this lose a few votes? Sure, maybe at first. But I have a feeling that working for a few years and realizing their existence is actually less depressing, along with insight they have into the kind of malingering they are now funding via taxes, would probably lead to many of them having a total 180 with regards to their view on entitlement programs.
Just because they lost Korea and Nam doesn't mean they didn't try.
Excuse you, those weren't even wars, they were police actions for the purpose of the US providing military training. It isn't possible to "lose" in a training exercise, QED, The US has still been undefeatable for over a century now and nobody can prove otherwise. AMERICA, FUCK YEAH
With 104% tariffs on China it’s time for Trump to play his Blue Eyes White Dragon: legalizing weed. Everyone would instantly forget that their heckin Nintendo switch 2 is $1200
Trump legalized weed Federally in 2017, the problem cops are having, is the lab tests required to prove it wasn't a hemp derived product.
Just walk into a hemp or vape shop, and buy gummies or a FVKD disposable vape.
His mistake was not waiting so he could hype it up as a big campaign promise for 2020 if he got voted in again. I realize that's retarded but it still might've worked. It worked well enough to get Trudeau in office and won him enough goodwill that he was given carte blanche to stomp a mudhole in the country for a fucking decade before half the population seemed to notice, probably because they were stoned.
How about we legalize weed and also require that the exhaust fumes from all cannabis dispensaries is rerouted into the AC units of kiwi farmers until they stop crying about the smell
What I'm curious to know is if they're the same people who see someone smoking a cigarette outside by the curb and make a point of walking by really close to them so they can put on a big exaggerated show of choking and gagging on the smell, but really they just wanted an excuse to get on their do-gooder high horse and berate the smoker for a while. I do not smoke tobacco or use cannabis in any capacity and actually find smoking indoors a disgusting habit myself, but some of the people who get off on moralfagging about it are so obnoxious that it makes me want to light up one after another and follow them around all day blowing smoke in their face out of spite.
Let's stop pretending the United States is the global hegemon because we are the "most moral", its because we benefit the most from this position and we stomp out any opposition not because "preserving democracy" or "upholding American values", it's usually because we want to stay as the top dog.
I didn't think anyone actually believed the "invade a country and overthrow their government to force freedom and democracy on them, even when we have to do it at gunpoint because they just don't realize they want it yet" spiel since Vietnam kinda redpilled the populace on that one. The 60's-70's cultural zeitgeist was also about the time when "colonialization=bad" and "respect different cultures" and such first started to catch on well enough to eventually become a standard liberal talking point, which also made more people question whether committing democracy jihad is appropriate.
And yes, I realize this was the rationale given to gain a pretty decent amount of mainstream support for invading both Afghanistan and Iraq (though that was a harder sell), but my understanding was that politicians were just paying lip service to the idea it had anything to do with giving the gift of freedom to the poor oppressed people of these countries. I just thought they said that because it would have been bad politics to publicly acknowledge what everybody knew to be the overwhelming attitude of the country at the time, which was that 9/11 had a whole lot of Americans pissed right off and eager to stomp a mudhole into some sand people who had asked for it. Similarly, I thought the "defending Our Democracy(tm)" shit we've been hearing since 2020 was just a polite nonsense euphemism used to mean "fuck Donald Trump in particular" and nobody really believed otherwise. Fuck, I don't know, maybe I've been erroneously projecting my level of cynicism onto the population at large and there are actually more true believers left than I thought.
Braindead insult. Both wars had extreme public support at the time because the public wanted revenge. They wanted dead sand niggers and they got them. It's easy to sit there and be smug 20 years after the bloodlust faded and hide behind the "we were misled about Iraq!" excuse. No we weren't. It's just not polite to tell the truth anymore.
As I said, Iraq was a slightly harder sell because a lot of people with a memory longer than 5 minutes were questioning whether it was necessary for Bush to kick off an entirely new round of sand adventures for no immediately obvious reason other than his daddy still having beef with Saddam from a few years earlier. Hell, even people who might not think of that still were saying "wait... what?" because they at least understood that Afghanistan and Iraq are two entirely separate countries. But yeah, ultimately it didn't take very much convincing for most of the populace because they were still in the mood to bomb the shit out of some sandniggers, and hey, cheap gas.
China would lose much worse in a war of attrition. Mainly because for every chink male you kill you're destroying 2 families because the male is expected to not only support their direct family but also their wives entire family. So basically every soldier is Private Ryan.
The discourse about a Sino-American war is fascinating and all but I've noticed a conspicuous lack of discussion about how much drone warfare has been a game changer in the last several years. I'm fucking retarded so please correct me if I've bought into some bullshit, but aren't the Chinese kinda mogging us when it comes to drone technology? Did the Chinese manufacture drones used by the US military, and if so, how many different ways could that bite us in the ass? Even if their technological advances in AI and drones are mostly just possible because of intellectual property theft, the Chinese could undoubtedly use them to great effect to put up a decent fight while sustaining relatively few casualties.
Any person who thinks that Americans would be building shit in squalid sweat shop conditions is missing the fact that the reason Americans think we're better than everyone else is we've been trying to get away from those conditions. Quality > Quantity. I don't need a billion chinese shirts, i need a couple really nice ones. I don't need a collection of shoes, just a couple nice ones for specific tasks. It's the same shit over and over again.
The problem is that relatively few Americans in current year still think that way. Overconsumption has established itself as a way of life for the majority, and most people are easily duped into thinking they're getting quality for their money if something has a higher price point and the right brand name slapped on it, even if it's more or less the same landfill fodder as usual. Even in cases where it's still possible to find a higher quality product with a significantly longer lifespan that can save money in the long run, a lot of people wouldn't do it. They're addicted to the dopamine rush of buying things and will thus prefer 10 pieces of new, shiny chinesium garbage over 1 solid long-lasting product every time.
