This is going to be a hot take but Chinese foreign nationals should start being rounded up and sent home. China unleashed a plague on the US once and will do it again without a second thought.

Probably should seize all CCP Chinese held land near military bases while we are at it.

They are the enemy of the world. We need to start acting like it.
A lot of the CCP officials own land here. We should redistribute it.

The worst part about the "Learn to Code" people is that some of those miners where probably smart enough to get a low level IT certs and junk......and then they got replaced by infinite jeets anyway by the same people that told them to learn to code.

I 100% understand why the miners want to burn the whole system to the ground.
You know those smug assholes had a smirk when the miners asked them what to do when they lost their new job to a jeet.

I told how the news is skewing shit on purpose to do exactly what she's doing and that Italy - all of Italy - has like 3 million people and that's it. I told her Manhattan has something like 3.5 million so there's more people living in Manhattan than there are in Italy.
Dude, the population of Italy is like 60 million. I don't know where you got the three million figure from, or the idea that there's more people living in Manhattan.

This is a little outdated, but should help people contextualize Europe.

Massachusetts would be a middling scando country, but Italy, France, England and Germany a bit bigger than California or Texas in population.

Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire could be Balkan countries

China unleashed a plague on the US once and will do it again without a second thought.

they absolutely did not unleash a plague on the US, what happened is actually worse

1) the US wasn't even the worst harmed, because the US isn't part of belt and road. the worst hit areas in the world, outside of China, are part of belt and road. this damaged Chinese economic interests way worse than it did anything to the US.

2) it's very very obvious that this was a lab leak. it was not intentional. this is terrifying because it's going to happen again.

3) and it's very obvious that the international health bureaucracies were totally aware this was going to happen eventually and were willing to lock everyone down because they were shitscared the Chinese had let out airborne cancer of the AIDS.

the real villains here are the Western, educated, mostly white american and european bureaucrats who caused the situation in the first place by setting up that lab and then reacted to the entirely predictable results in the most retarded ways possible. And they'll do it again if they get a chance.

We still don't have an actual, comprehensive plan about doing that whole re-instating manufacturing back here you know, Trump is literally just soft-begging on Truth Social for companies to start setting up factories.

I don't think this was ever meticulously planned out and we are just going full retard gorilla on the global economy right now.
How many scoops?

DO THE BIT!

You know we have a shit ton of flexible capacity just in the basis of available overtime?

If an existing factory wants to expand capacity, maybe they have room to jam some more machinery in their building. Maybe they knock down a wall and pour some more slab.

@quaawaa you’ve revealed my bias. I can’t help but diminish euros

For the "Buy the Dip!" crowd I'll refer back to the 1929 chart I posted yesterday. What happened to the people who bought all these dips?

It wasn't until about 1970 that the Dow reached pre-1929 levels adjusted for real dollars.
You aren't supposed to throw your life savings in it right away. If you're a poor throw in like 3% of your paycheck into it.

There are miles of empty warehouses that were built pre and during Covid. Space exists. All that needs to be done is fitting them out and filling them up.
