It's fine to try something different, but if "the plan" exists, it will take several administration to effectively reshore manufacturing jobs and build back a healthy working class. This gamble is built upon the idea that everyone will suck it up for decades to come and any incoming presidencies won't just light the whole thing on fire because voters like cheap shit at the end of the day.
Not to mention a significant portion of Americans couldn't afford the cost of electronics and tech goods if they were American made with American wage products either. A LOT of Wal-Mart tier lives are about to get significantly less technologically advanced.
