I'm not economically educated, as a reciprocation tariff doesn't this mean Chinas tariff on the US was like... 200%? How is it particularly unfair them charging half of what other countries charge?

It was reciprocal* for everyone, however China was the only one to raise theirs in response to the US applying the initial tariffs. For this, Trump increased it by 50% more for China specifically, and since then, has actually brought it over 120% for testing the US and being unwilling to negotiate. I'm making no statement as to the effectiveness of these tactics in this post, thems just the facts. Here's the original values, from the White House.

They were not reciprocal. No international body imposed those tariffs on the USA. Those numbers were arrived at by dividing trade deficit by total imports rounded up. The actual tariffs imposed on the US were around 4% in the case of the EU, and 0% in the case of Japan.
