I'm not sure what to make of this. Him remaining there says that whatever he did (let's say it was the streaming/gamba) wasn't worth kicking him out, but it also doesn't make sense to then cut his stay time by a small amount, since surely they're still obliged to rehab him for the full amount of time his family paid for. It seems counterproductive/unethical to punish patients who haven't committed an offence severe enough to be ejected by giving them less rehab. It's also unlikely that he's been such a clean, sober dude that they don't think the full period is necessary. So what gives?

My three entirely speculative theories:
- Bossman misunderstood the rehab program and didn't realise that only part of it would involve the facility, and there's a final at-home component which involves online classes or some shit
- the facility is overbooked/has more critical patients that need it, and since he's a relatively mild case (not to mention annoying as fuck to deal with), they slashed his time and refunded a portion
- he fucked the right person's mother (DTPN) and she put in a good word for him

I suppose the other possibility is that he was humouring the Discord rat and doesn't know how long he has remaining. They could be in the process of kicking him out right now and have simply told him "you'll be going home early" while they do the paperwork.

That rehab exists at all is an indication that society is flawed, as it's trying to retrospectively fix a problem that it caused (or allowed to occur). As (hilariously) retarded as Austin is, he was once an innocent child with potential that was slowly worn down by exposure to drugs, niggers, gamba, and a seemingly neglectful family. You won't solve that by making him read pamphlets and seeing the occasional counsellor, it's far too late to change his character. You solve that by not letting people get exposed to these evils during the formative years of their life.
