Equating “steeltoe” with nazism in this context is pretty dumb.

It’s mostly Doc Marten boots that were associated with skinheads, or other tall work boots (I think to look like paratrooper boots was the point), which may or may not have toe protectors, but Aaron was obviously going for the factory worker / contractor image than some 1970s European neo-nazi fashion reference.
