He had some bald dork in glasses named Matt, I guess he worked with him before but he came back after April left to fill in her spots that Johnny couldn't do. He only lasted a few months before he got a real job because $50 from Aaron doesn't pay the bills. Years ago there was also a Matt who Aaron used to film his show in his garage until Aaron got pissed at him for having strippers on without Aaron and almost got his Twitch channel taken down. I only remember that from a hilarious Aaron quote "You can't show buttcheeks on Twitch, dammit Matt you know better!" I'm not sure if they're the same guy or not or which one is being accused.

I'd have to re-listen to her interviews, but I was under the impression she lives in St. Cloud and came to Nick based on being a local fan of Aaron's. She seemed to know a fair amount about the April/Aaron lore. Iirc, she said she drove an hour to get to the Kandiyohi County courthouse. Pure speculation on my part - she was pretty careful.

Posted at 1:16. They were supposed to go into court at 1, so maybe five to ten minutes, given a few minute late start, and a few minutes to grab your phone and tweet? Aaron must not have been shitting, his lawyer had everything locked up. Done and out in 15 minutes is nothing to sneeze at.

His lawyer even knew Aaron well enough to withhold some information from him until the day of the hearing, because he knows Aaron's a blabbermouth. But he knew his client well enough, and Aaron trusted his guy enough, that it seems to have worked out.

Not surprising Aaron had his terms mixed up. This was the most likely outcome most people predicted at the start, and it seems to be how things landed. Even a gross misdemeanor is a hell of a lot better than a felony (or even the risk of a felony).

Looks like $KNU might be off to the moon, though.

It sounds like the deal was not as cushy as he claimed, which is probably why he was dragging his feet.

I still don't anticipate much coming from it, although I'll note (as others already have) that the pre-sentence investigation was a "the court may" thing, not a "the court shall" thing and involved an actual decision. This isn't surprising since the guy has priors, and while they're themselves pretty minor offenses, they're fairly directly related to the kind of harassment conduct the prosecution was originally claiming with regard to the felony count.

So it was definitely enough to trigger a reasonable choice to have a PSI.

As for the DV thing, I agree with the person who said (maybe in the Rekieta thread) that this probably indicates they got some kind of report from April.

Again, I don't see much coming of this, but if it does, it's because of the priors and similar related conduct. It would be too bad if whatever happens rugpulls the adorable new meme currency of KNUs.

I am not so sure that Aaron received some great deal and instead plead guilty to what the prosecution thought that they could get through a trial all along.

The felony was a long shot over-charge to convince Aaron to just plead guilty.
