A day without a woman

I'm interested in seeing how this all pans out. It has to the potential to be a much bigger event than the "Day without immigrants" protest could've dreamed of being. After all, women are a much larger demographic than immigrants (both legal and illegal).

I have a feeling that the majority of women are still gonna go into work, though.

Women who actually pull their own weight will go to work since they know and care about their responsibility.

The ones that will use this as a pretense to not go to work are lazy freeloaders that are dependent on diversity hires and quotas to climb the company ranks anyway.

For that reason, I doubt it will have much of an impact.

So, basically, just indiscriminately fire those employees that use this bullshit to skip on a workday - it will cut out the bad meat.

So basically after women fought for employment, now they're NOT wanting to work?

It's amazing to me how much of modern feminism basically just consists of doing the opposite of what the suffragettes wanted. I guess they just love battles, and since they've won so far now they have to fight themselves. Rebels without a cause. This is nothing but sheer drama-mongering. As long as someone's at Subway to cut my sandwich, I don't give a flip what gender they are. Neither does like 80-90% of the population. *yawn*:qsand:

Yeah, the only people who will take advantage of this are lazy workers. Who will just make female employees look worse when they don't show up and their employers realize that absolutely nothing has changed.
Women who are scientists, engineers, doctors etc don't really care about this.
Women in menial but essential jobs can't afford the day off.
These "day without x" things are stupid and almost seem like a /pol/ plot.

Uhhh.... what exactly is this supposed to prove? That we have to work to earn money like men do? That women are important? Well, no shit. We're 50% of the population. If you have to screech about men not noticing how important you are, maybe you're just not doing enough to make yourself worth everyone else's time. That isn't even an "owning a vagina" problem, it's just a "get a fucking job, pull your weight around society" thing.

If you're not a strong, fierce enough woman to make the men in your life note your presence and fear your absence, you're not doing it right.

Side note, women in Saudi Arabia can't drive and sex trafficking is still a massive, underreported problem for women throughout the world but lol, I guess I'm oppressed because I'm secure and happy with my place in society.

Geez, you really have to work out your internalized misogyny issues BIMB :story:
