i have no bias here so i looked it up and it seems like they actually catch fire at a rate less than traditional vehicles. i also know teslas do have manual door releases but unlike other manufacturers they arent built into the same mechanism as the normal release and you have to find them which is completely retarded. they also dont spontaneously combust so idk where thats coming from. according to crash data they are well above average in terms of collision metrics
