TL;DR: Vito is a complete fuck-up and can't keep the ball rolling on this project. He lost important files while encrypting his hard drives which will now need to be replaced, and he still needs to make inconsequential changes to the colors. A test printing will be done by the end of the month, and if that's perfect then it'll print in May.

However, the big takeaway is that a full-and-finished digital copy will apparently be delivered to backers in early May, at which point we can see that the final product is basically identical to the rough draft. The one caveat is that it'll be black-and-white, but no one cared about the coloring anyways.

Also, "no refunds" is no longer a meme and is now an official Superkiller policy:

• A "very stupid hard drive crash" causing setbacks.
• "We weren't the fastest car in the derby!" despite there being no other cars and them setting their own deadlines before soliciting donations.

Nevermind how these are all his fault. Go to your nearest computer store, and pay the guy to get that date back for you. It's usually not cheap, nor is it fast, but if it's data you desperately need, it's the best option.

Now, if Vito wants to claim that the hard drive failed so hard that it was 100% unreadable and couldn't be recovered, I'd like to ask why he put it in a microwave.

In reality, whether the tariffs affect his international customers or not, & as of today it’s looking likely not, as Trump put a pause for 90 days on tariffs (excluding only China, who currently have a punishment tariff of 125%) so Vaedo will have to do extra fat gymnastics to try & make scamming his burnt out marks some more.

He has a high yield savings account to keep at level so he can continue collecting the interest off his SuperPaedo “customers” money (which they paid for a product he promised with deadlines. Not for Vaedo’s bank account.) I've had 2 HDD failures in my life. One was because I got angry and hit my laptop which misaligned the little forks that read the discs (AKA my fault) and the other was because I bought a really shitty enclosure and it kept disconnecting itself which eventually corrupted the drive (also technically my fault).

Vedo is a cheapskate so I can see him buying low quality shit with high odds of breaking, but I maintain the timing is way too convenient to be anything other than another excuse. There's also a million online backup solutions available; I'm a luddite and even I use cloud storage for things I really don't want to lose.
