While that is one of the more egregious examples, I think the broader problem is that Vedo keeps defending pedos and pedo-adjacent stuff like lolicon.

In all honesty, I think some people on the Farms have a tendency to over-react to pedo jokes --I understand why, but sometimes a joke is just a joke-- but when you have a history spanning years of making these jokes, where the punchline is often little more than 'I fuck kids lol', and you compound that with constantly running defense for pedos like Max Karson, and get into pedantic arguments about animations vs drawings instead of focusing on the core issue of people making pornographic art of kids even the most good faith, impartial observer on the planet is left with no choice but to start suspecting you might be so invested in this topic for a very specific reason.

I'm especially confused because when I've backed books on Kickstarter before it adds shipping onto the final price on top of my pledge. I've had to pull out of backing some projects in the past because the calculated shipping cost more than the fucking book.

I dunno if this is something the project creator has to opt into or if the rules are just different on GFM, but we'll just throw it on the pile of things Vedo is incompetent at I guess.
