Hasn’t Vito the Pedo cried on numerous occasions about how he’s not actually a pedophile. Then he immediately gloms onto this.
He's Schrodinger's Pedo: he is a pedo until it gets him the attention he wants and then he hasn't the foggiest idea where people got this idea he's sexually attracted to kids just because he repeatedly said he was while emphasizing he wasn't joking.

Another month without any update on the comic book. Superkiller backers are still requesting refunds and getting completely ignored. They're now stating that even if they don't get refunds, they're not going to pay the extra cash to ship the book either.

This is the last form of protest they have remaining. Requiring them to pay for shipping was already ridiculous as Vito has bragged that he still has over $90k in campaign funds going unused and between the campaign funds, the income from his podcast, superchats from his gaming streams, money made from scalping collectables on WhatNot, his Twitter ad payouts, returns from his stock picks, the interest accrued on the campaign funds, his merch store, his Patreon, his Youtube ad revenue, and his "day job" work, he should be able to cover the shipping himself,

There's 2173 orders, and around 1912 of those are for 1 to 3 books which he says ship for the same price. The estimated shipping he lists for these is $10 to $20, so somewhere between $19,120 and $38,240. For the 242 or so orders with extras, it will cost more, but even if they're $20 to $40 to ship, that's only $4,840 to $9,680 for a combined $23,960 to $47,920 total for shipping.

At most, it'd cost half of the remaining unused campaign funds to cover shipping for the backers. That's assuming all backers are in Australia, Germany, or the UK, which they aren't. Also, for every backer who can't get a refund and refuses to pay the additional shipping, he either saves money by not printing that book or he double dips by selling that copy again at a convention or online. It's contrived to screw over the backers as much as possible.

If that wasn't all bad enough, he's going to run another scam crowdfunding campaign when this one finally ships in 2026.

I'd normally be mad on behalf of scammed backers, but you gave money to support a pedo. Getting scammed is the minimum you deserve.

Do none of these crowdfunding sites have mechanisms to report scammers? Vedo should be permanently blocked from launching any more campaigns when he never fulfilled his first one, especially when he has zero excuses for his failure.

Kickstarter had to change their rules after some legal threats so they no longer had a responsibility. So longer as the creator made an effort to fulfill the campaign, that's good enough for Kickstarter.

Steven is still requesting a refund. I really don't get it, even if he bought the most expensive bundle that's only $300 being refunded. That amount seems worth it to not have your crowdfunding discussion page littered with refund requests.

I doubt they care because the platform is still getting its cash and they can always swap around a few words in the terms and conditions so that they either have no liability or you have to take it to arbitration if you want to pursue the platform over it.

Plus, I think CringleJingle still falls under the colloquial version of the "scammer" label rather than anything currently legally actionable. Which is to say that he's a scumbag fuckface loser manipulating the system and gullible dopes, but there's not going to be any regulatory bodies taking interest.

I'm sure they've all covered their asses, legally, but they can't do anything about the reputational damage. Then again, I doubt most people backed Vedo's project for the art; they just wanted to 'own' Eric July.

This makes the refund requesters all the more puzzling, because it implies there really were some people who wanted this garbage.

I mean it was insane of them to think Vito was ever going to release anything of substance. It’s insane of them to think Vito will actually get off his fat ass and give them a refund.

Ergo the entire kickstarter is just dead and Vito won’t care what anybody me says because he took the cash and hobbled off with it

Listened to some of Biggest Pedophiles in the Universe last night and Vito's copes have gotten nuclear. He's still saying that the comic will be only one year late because people are getting it for Christmas this year... as in Christmas 2024, despite that having been a whole month ago (Juju pushed him on this and CringleJingle said it'll be a couple more months). The big hold-up now? He says it's all done and ready to go except that he wants to manually adjust every single color in the comic book replacing what his colorist selected. What a workhorse.

He also let slip that the above video was only put out in response to the post I made going over his Patreon. He says he made it to give his Patreon supporters more content, immediately after I post about how he's skimping on giving his Patreon supporters any content whatsoever. The title/thumbnail are clickbait bullshit.

He didn't even know anything about the Destiny situation when he made it, he doesn't have any real opinions on the Destiny situation, he spent BPITU both trying to vaguely condemn Destiny and also trying to stay in Destiny's good graces so that Destiny will bring him back on stream again (he explicitly says this, I'm not gilding the lily), and admitted the whole video was a waste of time. The only real take he had was that you shouldn't take a photo of yourself that can be edited to have the word "MONSTER" laid over it. Yeah bro, could you imagine?

The absolute most charitable interpretation is that they're people who had zero knowledge about Vito and saw him on one of the livestreams he went on to promote the comic, like Lolcow Live, and now they've both found out he's a L.A. creep who wants to rape kids and that he's a scamming fuckface loser.

What the fuck kind of retard would have even wanted Superpedo?
I'm going with @Harm 's theory that the people asking for refunds had no idea who Vedo was and (for some reason) thought the comic looked worth buying. If I'm being extremely charitable the carefully curated promo images he released did a good job of hiding how awful the full book would be.

I would guess most of them are Dickshowriders who bought in on the Eric July hate because Juju was cosigning it, thought Vito's pedo comments were nothing more than le epic trolling, and decided to buy his shitty comic to own the black comic man.

It's funny, a major Dick Show criticism of the Rippaverse was that it was getting sales from protest buyers who didn't actually read his comics, but at this rate Vito's customers are gonna be the ones never reading the comic they bought.

If that was the case then they wouldn't be asking for refunds because the uppity negro would still be sufficiently owned by Vedo's successful crowdfund, whether he fulfilled it or not.

If anything, those are the last people who would want to draw attention to Vedo's incompetence, because if he wanted to Eric could absolutely buck break the fat useless fuck for scamming his fans.
