Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

Do you think at one time Chris was into pro wrestling? Living in the south in the 90's he probably would have been a WCW mark.
If he were some of it would have seeped into Sonichu.
Although pro wrestling is staged, it's treated like a sport so a large aspect of its enjoyment is social and Chris does not get into hobbies like that. And later on he'd be complaining about all the ripped men anyway.

He's not at risk of starving. For instance, he used most of the profit from selling Bob's stamps to buy over $50 worth of toys.
Yeah, it should be noted that Chris knows how to get money in a pinch if he really needs it. Chris is an occasional patron of pawn shops and sells games sometimes to buy newer games, for example.

Does anyone have a backup of the videos from the youtube channel "Mind of Chris Chan"? The channel seems to have been deleted and they had some really good audio compilations including the only decent version of the Catherine date and a good edited version of the Emily date. Sucks if they're gone forever.

This may have been asked already, but just how did Barb get all that debt in the first place? Why does she have another mortgage on a house that was presumably already paid off?

Think we'll hit the 1,000 mark?

And here I thought Goodwill stuff was cheap. Unless you hoard a lot of it.
I like that she even hoarded lawn tractors. One of the two cost her about $1,500 and is the one she tried to sell a few months back.

I wonder how much the renovation of 14BC affected her debt. Of course, that fire started because of hoard anyway.

Speaking of hoard, I think it's kinda funny that they have this.

In the background, there's a "Ship Chandler" plaque. It looks like this:

I guess one of them saw something with the family name at Goodwill and had to have it, and then it just got assimilated into the hoard.

So just what made Barb snap and go full hoarder? I think it's been speculated that the isolation from Chob when Chris was in high school started it, combined with the boredom of retirement, but what was the thing that really started the terminal hoarding?

Probably just to fill the void of contentment. She pretty much isolated herself from every possible source of being accepted as a person. She tried to steal a brother in law, and that got her exiled from her entire family. She quit cooking forever just out of spite from that one time of being criticized, so now she didn't have anything to give to Bob for him to praise. Chris is too much of a tard to intelligently recognize her merits, so it is impossible for him to provide the level of acceptance she as a person needs, because she knows his is just blind love. She has nobody else besides maybe Anna, and for the rest of the times she needed to keep buying new things to remind herself at least SOMEthing would not reject her.

Other old ladies collect cats for the same reason, although I guess Barb does too by proxy of Chris raising those strays.
