I don't think they dissolve immediately, if you don't completely submerge them in sauce and serve them quickly they should last long enough to go in a hipster's pie hole. My understanding is they are pretty mechanically similar to various shitty cereals, like Captain Crunch for example.

That really does look like an AI image. What I assume is the meat does not look right, that blob in the middle looks like mash potatoes, and there is random stalks of some sort of veggie. On top of it all, there's a random honeycomb at the bottom right? WTF am I looking at?

The blob in the middle is fufu, they use it instead of bread - they tear off a bit and dip it into the soup, the same thing Indians do with naan.

The honeycomb looking thing is probably tripe. Stomach lining.
