Doomworld - AKA Troonworld, a dedicated safe space for pedophiles and megalomaniacs - Corrupting the Doom community since 2016

I haven't played any new wads for a while, last time I tried a few mapsets made by 4chan's /vr/ users. unfortunately they seem to be suffering from the same turbo-autism faggotry as troonworld slop. do people still make slaughtershit these days?

Wouldn't it be weird if there was a humongous amount of overlap between /vr/ and Doomworld users? Haha.
As far as i'm aware, most /vr/ users (at least those in the Doom threads) are troonworld or doomer-boards tourists, so it's not a big surprise. those retards are capable of reporting/banning you for saying 'slaughtershit' in their threads. they're not so different from troonworld.

You're asking because you like the slaughtershit, or you're looking for non-slaughtershit? Because they do make slaughtershit, way more than we need... and most of it is literal unplayable shit.
I fucking despise them, but unfortunately it's a popular genre among autistic trannies. I just want maps with consistent gameplay like some wads from the 90s such as Requiem or Perdition's gate. or some shit with actually replay value.

How ironic, the elite Troonworld faggots used to condemn wads like NUTS.wad for 1000+ enemies and now they think that slaughter maps are the shit while seething on DBP's normal-looking maps that are way better than their so-called experimental maps. All because deep inside, Troonworld weirdos would prefer to immerse themselves on drama and rage on invisible boogeymen. They can't manage their shit on the real world and they can't even manage their shit in creating a worthwhile map.

Attention, fellow spergs. The newest iteration of the Kiwifarms Mapping Project has been released. Hope you guys will have a good time with this one.

Know any WADs from there with hub maps?

I haven't played all DBPs, and i'm not sure about hubs, but DBP59 Zeppelin Armada has some impressive maps with friendly NPCs, a dialogue system, and overall, very interesting world building. It's very impressive what they did with that one, considering that it's made in the vanilla mapping format.

oh I meant from doomer boards in general, not specifically the DBP series. Although I am already sold on them-once I found out about DBP48 from the banned wads/mods/projects thread (wonder why it was banned) I decided to download and try them all :)

Ok, so I decided to make a Doomworld bingo card. Awhile back I made one for Doomworld's shitty mapping practices and gameplay flaws.

This time it's Doomworld itself.

It's probably not that great (and it maybe has some redundant points), so if any of you who have more experience with the faggotry that is happening in that website, feel free to create an improved version. Maybe @ArticleWriter can do it if he wants to.

Come to think of it... How does anything produced by troonworld for at least last decade is any different than AI goyslop, exactly?

Good point, half the time when I look at a KKKlub maps in the editor it looks like something that was created by an algorithm anyway - Technically proficient but looks clinical and procedurally generated according to "good" map design.

It's pretty good. "Misery & Low self-esteem", can be changed to "Misery, low self-esteem & suicide threads", as these are very common on Troonworld.

I don't like the one about silencing new mappers. It's not very clear. In reality, Troonworld would welcome new mappers as long as they align (or pretend to align) with their faggotry. It can be changed to "Silencing talented mappers who would dare to question them", or something like this.

I'd also change the "Like farming" with something else. Maybe "Delusions of grandeur" could be a good one? After all, these freaks think of their maps as they are some "divine art".

Here's some fun info that's Doom Community related: Combine_Kegan was a janny on /vr/. It's entirely possible that he's one of the ones who is over-jannying the Doom thread into the current fucked state it's in.

So, saw this video on Eviternity, while it looks cool, I got to admit I'm not a fan of maps that drag for too long.

Any good wad where the maps don't take 40 minutes to finish?

Doomer Boards projects have maps that don't take long to complete.
Then we got:
Requiem
Doom 2 Reloaded
Perdition's gate
Hell to Pay
UAC Ultra
Sigil 1 & 2
2022 A Doom Odyssey

Those come to mind.

Fun fact: Eviternity Map 19 is one of the longest levels in the wad and it took me about 30 mins to get the first key. I wish I was joking.

Ubermensch gave a good selection (D2 Reloaded one of my favorites)

To add on some picks I've enjoyed that meet your criteria:
-Doom 404
-Doom 2: 25 Years on Earth
- Into Sandy's Cities
-Czechbox
-Plutonia 2 (I found this better paced than the original actually)
-Going Down (this can be a bit slaughter-y, but it meets the criteria)

And in case you haven't played the classics like:
-DemonFear
-Scythe series
-Icarus: Alien Vanguard
-Memento Mori I/II (must plays)
-Mars War
-Dystopia 3

^These maps generally take less than 30 minutes to complete as well. Doom 64 For Doom 2 is a bit redundant to some but I liked it
