Well it takes place on Tau Ceti IV, a S'pht Compiler has appeared briefly in two trailers so far, and a redesigned version of the Marathon herself is in a lot of promotional material.
Like I said earlier, customization was probably the name of the game when they dropped the first reveal trailer a year or so ago (or at least variable equipment you could kit your cyborg person out in), but somewhere along the line somebody decided they wanted Apex money and some other idiot asked "what if we had Destiny classes too?" Also based on what I've been told ITT they probably laid off everyone who was working on the game and replaced them with steretypical women devs and even more stereotypical trannoids.
The worst part is none of the colors are even used logically, but instead just vomited out in one giant clash and then hailed as art. At least when CP2077 did that it had the in-universe explanation of "Yeah, these people are actively being neon ugly because they're being punk lol".
If you look closely both Goth Sniper and Anime Punk are given the exact same photo of a child, and they both want the exact same things: the piano tune and the lucky leg. I think the implications are a bit deeper, but naturally I don't expect the trannies involved in this to do anything actually interesting with such a premise.
You know, I wanted to watch that anime for years and I am finally getting around to it. Thanks for setting my expectations of the fandom as low as possible, always a good sign.
The "fandom" is mostly alright, it's unfortunately the loud minority of troons that are gross. Ghost In The Shell is great, though.

How did they manage to make this style look washed out too? It looks so muddy and washed out and it should POP. I'm tired of all the HECKIN EPIC environmental noise that games have nowadays. I DON'T WANT A FUCKING FOGGY WASHED OUT EFFECT OR FLOATING DUST BULLSHIT IN THE MAP IT MAKES PEOPLE HARDER TO SEE.
That I think is the most egregious shit. You have these characters and levels designed with high-contrast in mind, but in-game the color palette is oddly muted and drab and it makes the game look even cheaper than it already does. It's like they're embarrassed by their own art style. At least Concord owned it.
