So tonight's Disco Elysium stream was entirely held up by the single anon tipper once again dropped 125. Barely anyone was supporting, and Phil went all Mr. Views. He's gonna talk about dropping the game tomorrow, but really hoping sock accounts go in and get him to drop it in order to cuck that faggot dropping the huge whale donos.

I watched a few minutes of someone competent streaming Blue Prince.

It was a gay op to get Phil to play it, right? It’s uniquely terrible for his er gifts. Some of the puzzles require notes (already beyond Phil) and screenshots. Add RNG that prevents handholding and Phil is OUT.

The Blue Prince stuff reminds me of the typical journo shill campaign shit cause one of their own is involved in the game or something. Legit everyone I've talked to who has played it has said the same as you that it's just RNG bullshit. I read some of the dev talking about the game and he sounds like a total retard who said he spent 5 years testing the game and thinks it's the "perfect balance of strategy and difficulty"

He will stick with it if he gets legit whaled out during the gameplay for a bit but ya I think it's gonna be gone fast. He did get $100 from you know who during it last time.

It's complicated.

It's a game that requires you to approach it differently than how you would most rougelike games.

It's really more of an exploration game. If you explore a ton and focus on that without hyperfocusing on solving any 1 thing, you won't have as much problem with the RNG. But if you try to beeline an objective , you'll likely just be constantly getting screwed by the RNG.

Phil will definitely hate how RNG dependent it is.

This is just pure speculation on my part, but I think it's one of two things. The first is fear of being identified. One main account will obviously be easier to track, whether to try and find a similarly named account linked to something else, or just having the total amount donated trackable for mocking purposes.

The second, and IMO the more likely one is it's all part of the LARP. It's like how Phil will make the smallest of events seem like this gigantic moment of his life, when in reality it's something people do daily. Presumably, the only people who have less going on in their lives than Phil are the people who have more or less dedicated their lives to Phil. Buying up accounts and shuffling the donations around helps fill the time where Phil isn't streaming and they have literally nothing else to do with their lives. They're basically creating busy work for themselves so they can feel like they've accomplished something.

I’m sure part of it is also riling up the sub here or the detractor community overall. Any simp that donates enough gets attention and salt and that’s funny to them just like Phil’s salt is funny to us, and donating under more than one name probably fools Phil more than anyone else in terms of how many “real” supporters he has.

The current website issues are keeping me away because they're triggering some autistic corner of my brain but I had to jump in to say: It's DSP. Expecting him to have common sense is setting yourself up for failure.
