Looking it up, I can't believe they're only blaming AI for this trash. Yes, the giant penis was an issue. Yes, the nonsensical diagrams, as well. But the whole paper was apparently also a big nothingburger. When asked, one of the reviewers basically said "the figures aren't my responsibility! I simply check the content!", even though he himself didn't do a good job at it. Another one couldn't be contacted.
I know I might be thinking too much into it, but I wonder if nothing was said about the people involved (authors, reviewers, etc) was because they're ethical minorities/non-white. Authors were Chinese, while the reviewers were Chinese and Indian. I don't want to jump straight into racism, but I really do find it weird that at a glance, no action was taken against them.

Eventually many of us posting from the UK are going to have our post history be found incredibly frustrating by those working out what they can send us to the gulags for.
Not that it will keep us out of them, it just makes it frustrating to be certain which bits to use as "evidence."

I'm always curious to know what the people who donate to these "poor types" think of stuff like this. Your son is on trial for murder, and your response is to stop working, and load yourself down with bills you can't afford? Do people who donate ever have an epiphany were they realize these people are trash, and that boy is in fact a murderer?

Saw a book on Native Americans. But on that back cover, "indigenous" was capitalized as "Indigenous", and "maintaining cultural traditions" were mentioned, and I immediately lost interest. Cannot stand that insufferable academic-sounding "wokeyspeak" that SJWs like to use, and how everything is about "marginalized groups" and "cultures" to them.
