Postmortem Blinded by the Light

The new webp stuff seems to like to sometimes turn clean simple colored smal png attatchments into compressed lossy as fuck jpeg artifacted "mobile friendly" monstrosities that look fugly god awful on my computer screen. "New posts" button creates a deathloop too. Have had these problems the last whole day almost now. Don't appreciate hairy crust around every detail even when viewing full sized attachments.

I want a realistic down-to-earth theme that's completely off the wall and swarming with magic robots.

And, also, you should win things by posting.
So this?

My eyes are searing but not in a fully bad way.

It's annoying but you can bypass it with the [plain][/plain] tag.

The Martian (2008)
It also works if you remember that The Martian came out in 2015.

While there's a chance this is a typo and meant to refer to the 2008 film 'The Martin' I am skeptical as no one knows about, let alone talks about, that movie.

Yeah but I was more interested in the technical issue. The whole 8) shit is fucking annoying when you're trying to post legal documents that are full of shit like this.

Webp has both a lossy and lossless mode. Sounds like someone running a site which uses it automatically should make sure if the incoming image is lossless then it's used in lossless mode.

I agree, it is rather annoying and honestly even the plain formatting trick is a bit too much hassle. Do we really need the text to default to the emoji when we have an emoji menu?

Something went a little fucky-wucky on the board header.

Brave browser on 1366x768 laptop screen:

Same problem on Brave desktop at 1920x1080:

Other boards seem OK, haven't checked them all. Same device as above:

Maybe an issue when the board doesn't have pagination?

In the blue theme and assumedly in the other non-defaults:
The symbol color matches the overall group theme (pink for salon, blue for off topic etc) but the links default to theme color. [Am I retarded? This cannot be how it always was]

In the side bar:
Every thread is prefixed with 'Thread' - is this supposed to be a symbol/icon?
Also, am I retarded or did clicking threads in this manner bring you to /unread by default? If not, can that be a thing, as they currently take you to the first post in the thread.

I really like the new High Contrast theme. My only nit pick with it is that the new alerts aren't living up to the theme name.

If the great tinkering singularity is still ongoing: What's the deal with the notifications never picking up edits?
Like the considerate, double post avoidance edit?

I am wondering if the chat on the main page can match the style you chose. It is still gray under High Contrast.

I searched the thread and I don't think anyone mentioned this yet, but new posts are being incorrectly translated into timezones, so that posts which ought to read "2 minutes ago" or some similarly short time are displaying as if the site timezone is the local timezone.
EDIT: Also the post draft doesn't delete when you publish your post.
