I've been suffering from that bug for months. If I start to type something and decide not to post it stays in the reply box forever no matter how many time the page is refreshed after deleting it. The only fix I've found is to delete it all out, click the Post Reply button and then get the error about posting a blank message. Then it doesn't come back

Joe Manchin would be a strong contender, but IIRC he has stated he isn't interested.

The "progressive" wing of the Democrats (i.e. every screeching shitlib who idolises the unholy alliance of AOC, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib, among others) would never abide by Manchin as teh Democrat 2028 presidential nominee. He had to be goaded into backing Biden for most of the omnibus bills passed via budget reconciliation, and even then, Manchin comes from West Virginia and unapologetically supports coal miners. Would the "progressive" wing of the party back down from their screeching once they're browbeaten into submission? If AOC's impotent threats to "primary" Gillibrand or Schumer is anything to go off, they're probably getting ballsy enough to bite the institutional hands that fed them in the first place.

I had the radio on today in my car while running errands, and a station I listen to had a bit on where they had a woman talking about having an abortion when getting pregnant out of wedlock when she was young. She started sobbing during telling her story. I felt very uneasy and horrid listening to it, like I was either going to get sick or pass out listening to it.

In nature, a mother bird will even sacrifice her life to prevent her eggs from being scathed in a forest fire. Meanwhile, a human woman will end her unborn child's life since she sees it as an inconvenience to her hedonistic lifestyle. Abortion is completely unnatural, and yet Feminist types love it and act like they are never ever regretted ever.

There are three women that I know personally who have had an abortion. All 3 needed several years of therapy after having one. Nobody really talks about stuff like this. Abortion advocates and activists do anything and everything they possibly can to prevent women from doing ANY sort of research about fetal development, abortion, and the potential risks of abortion.

If the masses were better informed about abortion, then I can guarantee that the majority of the nation would be anti-abortion. The propaganda has made so many people just flat-out ignorant on the matter, and men have been flat-out bullied out of the conversation altogether too.

There's also a growing amount of women who are pressured to get abortions as well. I mean, the culture in of itself has pretty much rejected motherhood and has made so many women feel like being a mother is the worst possible thing that can happen to you.

My heart really goes out to the women who have had abortions and have later regretted them. I can't imagine what that must feel like. I would not be able to handle that immeasurable guilt and regret if I'm being honest.

The women who do the "shout your abortion" shit though? They can rot in hell for all I care. Those are evil people with evil intentions.

I see this all the time and I have to say a few things.
Bill Hicks was better than Carlin, first of all. And second, the landscape that brought Carlin to fame is not anywhere near what we are currently dealing with.

He may have been 'woke' for the 70's and 80's, but to be 'woke' back then was the counterculture as opposed to today where it flipped around.
