I mean yeah, the Canadian justice system is pretty retarded as a general rule, but to be fair, sexual assault has a dismally low conviction rate just about everywhere. Sexual assault victims often can't gather themselves well enough to try and involve the police until time has passed since the incident, which makes it more difficult to prove via forensic evidence, and the vast majority don't report at all. Even when reported right away, it is a crime that is typically committed in private and away from potential witnesses, so if the accused claims it was consensual, it's often hard to conclusively prove it wasn't.

The other factor is that many abusers are less likely to commit sex crimes against strong, self-assured women with good support systems who are sane, intelligent, sympathetic, articulate, and generally seem as if they would be capable of giving an excellent statement to law enforcement and holding her own in court. To be clear I'm not saying women with those traits don't get assaulted or necessarily have an easy time getting justice if they do. I'm just pointing out that abusers are often cowards who pick and choose victims that seem least likely to involve the justice system at all, are personality-disordered retards with horrible track records when it comes to honesty, seem like they could be easily convinced to drop charges after some false apologies and sweet talk (because personality-disordered retard), are so naive or slow that they can probably be talked into believing they weren't really assaulted/it was their fault, or whatever else might give the abuser an idea that they could sexually assault them and probably get away with it. Nader is fucking retarded, but he also has a lifetime of experience being a total fucking scumbag, and he isn't quite so stupid that he hasn't figured out how to spot easy prey. The fact that he appears to exclusively go for desperate, middle-aged, balding fat women or barely coherent grandmas with raging BPD is certainly not an accident.
