The judgement/verdict will be announced by the judge on April 14th.
If the key witness/victim of the crime does not testify at trial, the Crown would no longer have strong evidence to present to obtain a guilty conviction (unless there were other witnesses to the crime), so the Crown would stay the proceedings (ie - stop the trial which can be restarted within 1 year) or, the judge would have declared a mistrial.

Seeing as the judge is going forward with a judgement on April 14th, the logical conclusion is that the trial went through it's completion.

She was not the perfect victim, but the very fact that she stayed with this trial for as long as she did, goes a long way in convincing me that she was sexually assaulted. That is the whole reason that Naders atty kept getting continuances. It wears down the strongest of victims, when all they want to do is heal and get on with their lives.

I could be totally wrong - I find Nader very difficult to understand, plus I only watched the first 5 minutes. Maybe he's talking about his mods / superfans not turning up to watch his stream? Someone else needs to rewatch the whole stream to confirm.

He has avoided mentioning this case until now. He must be extremely confident he'll win.

Mae not showing up has almost certainly killed any case against him. The only way he'll go to jail is if he made a false statement under oath, then retracted it after video or DNA proved the statement was lies. In that unlikely case, he might be convicted of something along the lines of purgery.

Rapists and sexual abusers target vulnerable and unreliable (in court) victims for a reason. It's not uncommon for a victim to refuse to testify at the last minute. That's why defense attorneys often seek as many delays as possible, hoping the victim loses the will to keep fighting for justice.
