Interesting personal story. I was at a monthly meeting for a local charitable club last night and a guy I barely know comes up after and starts asking me about the tariffs, clearly trying to get someone to assure him that he's not crazy for liking them. I try to not take a hard stance since I don't want an argument, but it turns into a full on confession that he's a dem (no mention of who he voted for this time, but a Biden and Obama voter) and how tired he is of the anger and hatred from "his side" and how Republicans are taking key Democrat issues from them followed by soft praise for Trump and the R's.
Then everybody clapped
It's just crazy seeing it in real life, not online and I guess all of the other former Dems I know were "former" when I met them.

I m not surprised.

If you take away the psyop NPC programing. You have a fucking 1990s new york democrat. Trump pulling tulsi and RFK was a fucking genus move it give him credibility.

The other thing trump is proving with the border (Not just counting deportations) just the border is that the Admin has the power to do things.

Same with ending USAID and the DOE.

Someone made a remark about biden. He s a C student who thinks he's an A student. Basically biden was not up to the job.

So this Dem has to deal with his side opposing their own people for taking a spot in this admin and doing what they want to do. The fact that his own side just wants to be angry, and infight after comming off of a 4 year admin that was an old man that didnt do shit while his theatre kid staff made white house christmas video with "DANCING NIGGERS"

He could probably deport them if he chose to. Since the act was mentioned, I wanted to give an interesting tidbit about the act. in 1948, the Supreme Court held that the only determinations a court can make regarding the Alien Enemy Act is whether the factual basis for President's proclamations are truthful, i.e. if President activated his powers because of war, then the court can review whether there is war. Ludecke v. Watkins, 335 U.S. 160, 68 S. Ct. 1429, 92 L. Ed. 1881 (1948). This year, the Supreme Court partly overruled this. In Trump v. J. G. G., 604 U. S. ____ (2025), the court instead claimed that the courts can only review whether the act itself is constitutional (in 1948 Supreme Court determined that it obviously was) and whether the alien fits within the President's determinations - but, not the determinations themselves.

I found that pretty interesting.

It sounds like then the Judge is just being a prick. Trump should ignore him like with that MS-13 fence hopper they keep bleating about.
