This is a perfect example as to why people need to have greater purpose in life than just hedonism. For the Christian it's church and his community, for the athiest it may be his job and family. It doesn't matter that their beliefs are different, they still have meaning and a reason to wake up. They just wake up and dread what they will see on the Internet, so they have isolated themselves to this tiny, obscure community that somehow sees no fault in their actions.
