Ever since hiromoot acquired 4chan, he's just been hands-off with the site as a whole, leaving it rot to the fucking jannies. We'll see if hiromoot actually pays attention and fixes his shit.

Yeah, I feel you. I saw things that I shouldn't have at an early age and spoke to people that I now realize were mentally ill. Despite that, it's shaped a good part of my life. I wouldn't have had my current music taste if it weren't for /mu/, nor gone into STEM after talking to a bunch of cs undergrads on /sci back then.
Here's some more old memes; The last I swear.
One time when I was 11 years old I clicked on a .xyz link and it directed me to a screamer gore site
It was similar to jak.soy

4chan being down might interrupt the free money he is getting from it so he might just feel the urge to actually do something about it for once.

It's been years since I visited the site, so I don't really know what to feel. If anything, I regret the time I spent there as a teenager instead of doing anything else with my time. Here's an old image just for shits and giggles I guess.
I remember sitting in the back of class sometimes in high school arguing with niggers on /g/ about Intel's 14nm penis controversy or some other retarded subject and not paying attention at all, I think I started using it when I was 14 or so. Not sure if I regret it, as unfortunate as it is at least I was learning stuff sometimes (and my knowledge from there helped me get an IT cert lmao). /v/tards are a whole different boat though

t.someone who takes internet shit too seriously and needs a daddy mod to ban the bad people instead of just ignoring shit he doesn't like.
and yes this is what the argument is about, only control freak power hungry NERDS feel the need to lord over people to "maintain quality discussion". moderation will ALWAYS devolve into what ended up being on 4chan. NO ONE likes janny NERDS.
I think it'd be slightly epic if 4chan died forever and people like (You) had to forcibly reintegrate in to online society without anyone holding your hand. Would make for some funny happenings at least.

only niggers are concerned with shit like "board quality" and "moderation".
ideally there would be zero moderation besides a an ai bot that automatically deletes mass flagged illegal shit and blatant flood spam.
let the people speak/shit their mind out
Unmoderated boards are kind of a paradox because if you let total retards or deliberate malicious actors flood nonsense out, it is effectively censoring other people trying to participate more genuinely. It's called a "Heckler's Veto", and it's especially bad on anonymous boards without thread ids.

Like on one hand you really do want people to be able to post as quickly and as freely as you want, but on the other hand that kind of behavior drives people away. A site like 4chan is popular because it's popular. There's lots of little IBs that are basically stillborn, despite some being good ideas, because unpopular things remain unpopular.
