So they break the ribs and you wear a medical corset to set them, this isn't anything new. Amanda Lepore already did this in the 90s.
They also do lipo which means this is going to end in complications with circulation and bloating. BBLs already cause damage to lymphatic system causing selling of the feet, now if you add lipo and a "tightlaced" medical corset you're going to see some nasty lower limb edemas on 20-somethings.

At least they're going to gyms (maybe?), nothing is funnier/sadder/worse than when someone gets all kinds of surgery to remove their fat...and they just let it all grow back, and it leaves them with this weird fat distribution that doesn't look natural. It's like Momokun, she got a breast reduction then gained a bunch of weight and her boobs filled back in with fat instead of breast tissue, now they're just...eughh god all of her is just gross. I can't explain it.

I know it’s nice to have a small waist, but there is stuff in there that needs the space.
Important things, like your liver and guts and kidneys and all that, that appreciate not being crushed into a different area. Any woman who has been pregnant will know how uncomfortable It is when there’s a large baby in there moving organs around, and some women end up with hernias from the pressure.
A few inches through corsetry, gradually, probably won’t harm you so much but there’s a point where you’re just impinging on real estate for vital organs.

I think that's actually where the phrase "big back" came from. Girls who get lipo, tucks, sculpting on the waist, hips, ass stomach etc. but their literal backs are the same/untouched. I can't remember where I saw that explanation, but I want to say Lipstick Alley.

Big back just refers (@LSA in particular, historically) to broad-bodied women ("shaped like a refrigerator"), specifically, wide women without a defined waist, or waist as wide as hips (apples vs pears). They often talk about Mexican/Hispanic women this way, though it's not limited to that. Could apply to someone who had a bunch of work but is still basically square-shaped, but it's broader (heh) than that.
