if you did that, sent me the password, and I logged in and then followed 10 people I know on twitter my account would be immediately locked for "suspicious activity" pending a phone number input

there are two possible outcomes for a spicy (i.e. 100% legal in the United States of America) post. Either the post is hidden immediately and you are banned from the site until you delete it, or the post is "restricted" and is not shown to anyone but mutuals
