The main issue with China and why they are called a paper tiger is twofold. The first is they don't have force projection. Sure they can destroy any US carrier using land based hypersonics but the US is going to position their carriers exactly outside that range and pick at their air defenses with unlimited sorties and glide bombs. China is powerless to sail out and stop them. It will basically be a repeat of the bombing campagins agiasnt Germany and Japan in WW2. Eventually enough infrastructure will be destroyed that America will make a beach head. China has no ability to do the same to the United States.

The second issue is that every country surrounding China HATES THEM with the FURY OF A THOUSAND SUNS. If they used their millitary for anything other than defense those countries would use the opportunity to attack. Furthermore those countries are allies with the United States and would be happy to provide staging areas for further attacks. The US could also clandestine arm them which has never backfired.

China's entire military is geared towards coastal defense. They're preparing for a mainland invasion, but it's all useless because a US military invasion of China would involve a fuckhuge volley of missiles from thousands of miles away. They learned nothing from Gulf War 1.

Look, at some point, can we at least fucking laugh at the retarded idea that Trump has gone from a hard line stance of mass deportations on day one, to now floating the idea of paying illegals to do the right thing, just like every other administration has in some form before? Previously we've given them cell phones and living expense money and shit if they'd just "go through the process" and it failed miserably. Unless Trump is also going to close the border, this is just more of the same.

China is always behind the ball because they wait for someone to make some shit public and then they go to reverse engineer it. But if Cold War history is any guide, we probably have a bunch of shit nobody ever heard of.

Their nuclear arsenal also might not be completely functional but obviously no one wants to test that out

The Chinese word for China is Zhōngguó, which literally means "Central State" or "Middle Kingdom". The "middle" refers to China being the center of the world, and they believe that every other country is inferior to them and should have to pay tribute to them.

China didn't need to force project against the USA. They need to project force against Australia, the Philippines, and the entirety of Southeast Asia. Against America, they already had an excellent strategy going:
  1. Corrupt government officials in America (done)
  2. Infiltrate Mexico and Canada to surround America as much as possible (going smoothly)
  3. Facilitate the importation of drugs to poison America (harder but still not impossible)
  4. Clandestinely finance subversive actions against America (Palestinians, climate, faggotry- as long as the end is the same)
  5. Fund the Confucius Institutes to project Chinese influence into America (going smoothly as nobody seems to care)
  6. Appeal to the globalists when America objects to the above (ongoing)
The one flaw in their plan was that they underestimated just how much influence America has over the global economy and overestimated their own economic position. Trump's plan of "we can be retarded for longer than you can remain solvent" solves almost all of these problems by striking China in the wallet. I can see China leaning on their bought politicians to continue funding as much as possible with taxpayer dollars while China focuses on keeping order internally.
