Seppuku was done to repair ones honor in a way even a lifetime of effort could not, it showed commitment and a willingness for penance and self-sacrifice. It was seen as a duty to those around and above you, not merely a selfish act or an escape from shame.

I nearly finished it but it's just an hour of whining about not upsetting people and microagressions. The actual interesting and shitty things Ethan does, like suing people who hurt his feelings and bragging about it are barely a portion of the video.

My conclusion is all of these drama youtubers are faggots and deserve each other. People are losing their families in ongoing wars while these whiny losers cry about hurt feelings from the tops of their ivory towers like it's 2016. Mysteriously those towers have only gotten taller and have mexican gardeners at the bottom now.
